PositionSummary

We are seeking anexperienced PMC StructuralEngineer to support the structuralengineering aspects of a major Oil & Gas pipelineconstruction project in Abu Dhabi. The Structural Engineer will beresponsible for designing reviewing and ensuring the quality ofstructural components and systems while ensuring compliance withproject specifications and international standards. This rolerequires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams todeliver safe efficient and compliant engineeringsolutions.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Designand review structural systems components and assemblies for theproject ensuring compliance with project requirements andinternational standards.
  • Prepare and reviewstructural calculations specifications and drawings to ensureaccuracy and quality.
  • Coordinate with otherengineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration ofstructural designs into overall projectplans.
  • Provide technical input and solutionsfor structural challenges encountered during the design andconstruction phases.
  • Conduct site visits andinspections to verify that structural construction aligns withapproved designs and specifications.
  • Monitorcontractor performance to ensure adherence to structural standardsspecifications and project timelines.
  • Supportthe resolution of technical queries (TQ) and incorporate approvedchanges into structural designs.
  • Assist in thepreparation of structural engineering reports progress updates anddocumentation for project stakeholders.
  • Ensurecompliance with HSE standards in all structural engineeringactivities.
  • Stay updated on advancements instructural engineering techniques and materials applying them toproject activities asappropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelorsdegree in Structural or Civil Engineering or a relatedfield.
  • Experience:
    • 710years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on Oil& Gas or pipeline constructionprojects.
    • Experience in a PMC environment ispreferred.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiencyin structural design software (e.g. STAAD Pro ETABS SAP2000AutoCAD).
    • Strong knowledge of internationalstructural engineering codes and standards (e.g. ACI ASCE EurocodesBS).
    • Excellent problemsolving and analyticalskills.
    • Strong communication and teamworkskills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinaryteams.
    • Ability to manage multiple taskseffectively in a dynamic projectenvironment.
