Roles and responsibilities
  • Identify and developpotential, sustainable customer relationships and engage with them(in collaboration with Sales and Account management team) indeveloping solutions for them across air andocean.
  • Provide leadership in the areas ofproduct and business development, resourceutilization
  • Facilitate and support efforts inmaintaining healthy relationships with trade bodies and governmentagencies & and authorities, including being an activesubscriber or participant of global researchagencies.
  • Guide and Support implementation ofprograms such as security regulation to meet country-mandatedregulatory requirements.
  • Lead Noatum ME incarrier contact/negotiation (for Air and Ocean Freight) accordingto corporate policy and regionalrequirements.
  • Evaluate the performance of Oceanand Air carriers and engage with them on rates, performance andsolutions design

Responsibilities

  • Drive collaboration across theCommercial team for pricing of Ocean and Air Freight products, andengage with the Tender management team to develop long term pricingstrategies for Air and Ocean freighttenders
  • Define, implement, monitor, and enforceservice and quality standards, in cooperation with productmanagement (in Regional Office).
  • Establishpricing strategies to improve EBIT results for Ocean and AirFreight at a country and region level
  • Developvolume targets in line with the Global targets and the marketcontext and develop product and pricing strategy for achievement ofthe volumes.
  • Ensure product compliance withindustry and internal policies andstandards.
  • Ensure continuous improvement byimplementing First Choice, Station Improvements, and adherence toquality policies.
  • Grow the air and oceanforwarding revenue and market share in collaboration with otherstakeholders both in the region and corporateoffice
  • Publish weekly, and monthly reports andother ad-hoc reports as may be required by management.

Qualifications

Bachelor'sdegree in Logistics, Finance, Accounting or Management; MBA highlypreferred
