We are currentlylooking for Interior DesignArchitect who hasextensive experience on transportation projects. The role will beresponsible for overseeing the design and coordination of regionaltransport projects that incorporates high quality of design andmaterials selection. This rolerequires a good level of knowledge and experience in highqualityinterior design the selection of materials samples and mockups andcoordination with multidisciplinary engineering. The idealcandidate would possess a sound understanding of design codes andthe ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders toensure the successful delivery of theproject.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Oversightof the interior design elements including the review of theContractors material selection detailing integration within theoverall context as well as the quality of onsite construction andinstallation.

  • The ability toquickly develop a comprehensive understanding of client aspirationsand project requirements to guide designdecisions.

  • Confidentlyreview contractor submissions of samples mockups design andshopdrawing information to ensure compliance with projectrequirements andstandards.

  • Coordinate withother discipline reviewers to integrate interior designs witharchitecture engineering and other technicalaspects.

  • Discuss and resolvecomments on Contractors designs ensuring all feedback is addressedappropriately.

  • Liaise withclients to ensure alignment with regulatory and projectspecificrequirements.

  • Ensure designsare fully conversant with relevant international and local designcodes.

  • Ensure thatContractors designs satisfy all project requirements. Manage anyproposed deviations through the appropriate technical andcommercialprocesses.

Qualifications:

  • 1115years of proven experience in complex transportprojects.

  • Firsthandexperience of manging the interior design and material selectiondetailing and construction within transportprojects.

  • Strong knowledgeof international and local design codes andstandards.

  • Excellentcommunication and coordination skills to work effectively withmultidisciplinary teams and externalstakeholders.

  • Has acomprehensive understanding of projectrequirements

  • Ability toaddress and resolve design issues promptly andefficiently.

  • High level ofaccuracy and attention to detail in reviewing and approving designsubmissions.
