The General Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections. This role requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot and fix issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs duties.
- Perform tasks such as parts replacements, cleaning, landscaping, and more.
- Conduct regular and on-demand inspections and report each visit's findings and recommendations accurately.
- Repair drywall, painting, carpentry, and minor plumbing or electrical issues.
- Keep maintenance areas and equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Respond to emergency maintenance issues, such as leaks, power failures, or HVAC malfunctions.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience in MEP maintenance, facilities, or a related field.
- Solid knowledge of plumbing, masonry, painting, carpentry, joinery, and general repairs.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Stamina to stay active throughout the workday.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and on-call shifts if needed.
