PositionSummary

We are seeking adetailoriented and experienced PMC LeadPlanning Engineer to join our ProjectManagement team for a major Oil & Gas pipeline constructionproject in Abu Dhabi. The Lead Planning Engineer will beresponsible for developing maintaining and monitoring projectschedules ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.This role demands a strong background in project controls planningtools and experience in pipeline constructionprojects.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Developupdate and maintain detailed project schedules ensuring they alignwith contractual requirements and projectobjectives.
  • Monitor project progress andidentify potential delays providing proactive solutions to mitigaterisks.
  • Work closely with project managementengineering procurement and construction teams to integrate andcoordinate schedules across all projectphases.
  • Prepare and present progress reportsincluding critical path analysis earned value analysis and forecastupdates.
  • Conduct schedule risk analysis andprovide recommendations to minimize potential impacts on projecttimelines.
  • Ensure compliance with planning andscheduling standards and guidelines tailoring them toprojectspecific requirements.
  • Lead planning andcoordination meetings facilitating communication betweenstakeholders and ensuring schedulealignment.
  • Manage and oversee the planning andscheduling activities of contractors and subcontractors ensuringthey meet project requirements.
  • Track projectmilestones key deliverables and timelines ensuring accountabilityacross all teams.
  • Utilize planning software(e.g. Primavera P6 MS Project) to manage schedules effectively andprovide accurate datadriven insights.
  • Supportthe change management process by evaluating the impact of proposedchanges on the projectschedule.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelorsdegree in Engineering Project Management or a relatedfield.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum1015 years of planning and scheduling experience with at least 5years in Oil & Gas pipeline constructionprojects.
    • Experience in a PMC environment ishighlydesirable.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiencyin planning and scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and MSProject.
    • Strong analytical skills withexperience in critical path and earned valueanalysis.
    • Excellent organizational andmultitasking abilities.
    • Strong interpersonaland communication skills for stakeholdercollaboration.
    • Ability to work effectively in afastpaced multiculturalenvironment.
