As an Electrical Technician, you will beresponsible for the installation, repair, maintenance, andtroubleshooting of machinery, equipment, and fixtures. Your roleensures efficient operation with minimal downtime while adhering toEnvironmental, Health, and Safety guidelines and focusing oncontinuous improvement.

KeyAccountabilities:

  • Respondto electrical equipment breakdowns including LV-MV motors, LVSwitchboards, MCCs, Plant lightings, Transformers, UPS, VFD,Breakers, Soft starters, etc. Execute planned/preventive/predictivemaintenance tasks with minimalsupervision.
  • Identify and report abnormalities,repair or replace necessary components, reassemble, test equipment,and maintain a clean working area.
  • Assess jobrequirements, select necessary tools and equipment, and completetasks efficiently.
  • Diagnose and troubleshootelectrical breakdowns/failures of plant equipmentindependently.
  • Use the computerized maintenancesystem (SAP) to order spare parts and maintain accurate maintenancerecords.
  • Ensure all maintenance work alignswith safety procedures and plant operationalneeds.
  • Monitor recurring breakdowns andrecommend modifications to resolveissues.
  • Provide knowledge and support to newlyjoined electricians, craft trainees, andcontractors.
  • Participate in continuousimprovement initiatives such as 5S, Business Excellence, and SafetyInitiatives.
  • Perform additional tasks asassigned by Supervisor/Superior.
  • Assist otherdepartments in equipment repair andtroubleshooting.

MinimumQualifications:

  • Diplomain a relevant field.
  • Completion of PEC CraftTraining.

MinimumExperience:

  • 3 years ofrelevant experience in a heavy industry afterDiploma.
  • No experience required aftercompletion of PEC Training.

Skills:

  • Proficientin written and spoken English.
  • Familiarity withmaintenance tools and IT knowledge.
  • Experiencein installation and troubleshooting.
  • Ability toread and understand engineering drawings, manuals, andinstructions.
