ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Buildingcomponents for both live trading and simulation of global equitiesportfolios
  • Building tools for simulationportfolio construction dashboards and the researchframework
  • Designing and deploying new featuresto improve portfolio construction methodology andprocess
  • Maintaining and updating the platformensuring its stability robustness andsecurity
  • Identifying deficiencies in thetrading platform and deployingsolutions
  • Developing robust data checking andstorage procedures
  • Troubleshooting andresolving any systems related issues and handling the release ofcode fixes andenhancements

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Mastersdegree or higher in mathematics statistics computer science orother quantitative discipline
  • 2 years ofexperience designing and developing research tools at a tech firmor quant hedge fund
  • Experience with systematicportfolio construction for equities aplus
  • Strong programming skills inPython
  • Experience with kdb database design andlarge datasets
  • Willing to take ownership ofhis/her work working both independently and within a smallteam
  • Commitment to the highest ethicalstandards
