AHousekeeping Public Area Attendant will support all Housekeepingand Laundry with guest requests analyzing each request anddelegating between the team members so that work can be done in anefficient and timely manner ensuring an exceptional experience forour Guests.

Whatwill I be doing

AHousekeeping Public Area Attendant you will support allHousekeeping and Laundry team for all aspects by delegating thedaytoday activities Housekeeping and Laundry within the hotel.Specifically a Housekeeping Attendant will perform the followingtasks to the highest standards:

  • Ensureconsistently high operating standards in every area of Housekeepingand Laundry as identified d by the hotel brandstandards
  • Monitor the appearance standards andperformance of all Housekeeping and Laundry Team Members with anemphasis on training and team work
  • Provideexcellent guest service
  • Actively works onavailability and release of Rooms for Guest Service along withFloor Housekeeping Supervision
  • Manages thecontrols of the Housekeeping department such as: frequency ofemployees release of master keys book incident input and outputinput and output uniform and linen amongothers
  • Responsible for checking daily the guestinformation in CRM and ensure that the preferences and requests ofthe same are met on time
  • Request flowers forspecial occasions (marriage death maternity .... Besides providingembroidery for special linen (wedding andpampering)
  • Control makes monthly Lost and Foundand donations
  • Check the uniforms and send for cleaning and / or repair
  • Coordinates andcontrols all traffic of documents and people within the department.Does releases linen of Laundry daily
  • Makesdaily guest clothing release of guests that use the laundryservice
  • Makes monthly closing of Laundryexpenses and provision of same
  • Replaces (a)Laundry Attendant in case of holidays days off orabsences

  • Previous experience inLaundry
  • Good interpersonalskills
  • Proficiency at intermediate level withcomputers and computer programs including MicrosoftOffice
  • Committed to delivering a high level ofcustomer service
  • Excellent standards ofclean
