We are seeking an experienced SeniorStructural Designer to join our team for an onshore oil and gasproject specifically for the Engineering phase. The ideal candidatewill have extensive experience in structural design within the oiland gas sector with a preference for those who have worked on ADNOCprojects. This role involves designing drafting and collaboratingwith engineers to develop structural layouts plans and detaileddrawings essential to successful project execution.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and produce 2D and 3D structural designs anddetailed drawings for onshore oil and gas projects ensuringcompliance with project requirements standards and safetyregulations.
  • Work closely with engineers andother discipline designers to develop project plans layouts andspecifications ensuring alignment across structural civil pipingand other project components.
  • Ensure alldesigns and drawings meet ADNOC standards and international codes(e.g. AISC API BS EN) and projectspecific requirements.
  • Participate in 3D model reviews clash detection anddesign optimization sessions to validate design integrityconstructability and project goals.
  • Prepareand manage technical documentation including structural plansmaterial specifications and data sheets ensuring accurate andtimely updates.
  • Conduct selfchecks and peerreviews of drawings and designs adhering to quality standards andproject schedules.
  • Provide technical supportto construction teams and resolve designrelated issues during theconstruction phase as necessary.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or arelated field.
  • Minimum of 10 years ofexperience in structural design for onshore oil and gas projectswith strong knowledge of the Engineering phase. ADNOC projectexperience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in designsoftware such as AutoCAD PDMS SP3D or similar 3D modeling software;familiarity with STAAD.Pro or other structural analysis tools is aplus.
  • Strong understanding of engineeringstandards structural calculations and onshore oil and gas projectrequirements.
  • Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills; able to work effectively in a teamorientedenvironment.
  • Ability to produce highqualitywork with attention to detail and accuracy while meeting projectdeadlines.
  • Previous experience with ADNOCprojects or similar Middle Eastern clients.
  • Understanding of local regulations and standards specificto the UAE.
