The BusinessDevelopment Manager will play a vital role in identifying newbusiness opportunities nurturing client relationships andsupporting the overall growth strategy for Horizon Geosciences inthe GCC. This position is ideal for a motivated individual eager tostart their career in business development within the geosciencessector.
Your responsibilities as aBusiness DevelopmentManager
- PromoteHorizons Services as the contractor of choice for Survey ROV andGeotechnical services in the GCC.
- Assist inidentifying and researching potential clients and marketopportunities within the GCC.
- Activelyparticipate in the bidding process.
- Supportbusiness development strategies aimed at increasing Horizons marketpresence and revenue.
- Build and maintainrelationships with clients partners and industrystakeholders.
- Collaborate with the commercialand business development team to prepare proposals presentationsand marketing materials.
- Participate innetworking events industry conferences and client meetings torepresent Horizon Geosciences.
- Monitor industrytrends to keep our strategiescompetitive.
- Provide regular updates andreports on business development activities andoutcomes.
Yourqualities andexperience
Youcan make your mark as a Business Development Manager if youhave:
- Bachelors degree in BusinessGeosciences Environmental Science or a relatedfield.
- 12 years of experience in businessdevelopment sales or a related role (internships or entrylevelpositions welcome).
- 5 10 years of experience inthe marine survey industry.
- Strongcommunication interpersonal and presentationskills.
- A proactive attitude and eagerness tolearn about the geotechnical and geosciencessectors.
- Ability to work independently and aspart of a collaborative team.
- Knowledge of theGCC market is a plus.
- Willingness to travelwithin the GCC.
- Fluency inEnglish
- Proficiency in Arabic isadvantageous.
