This is an opportunity for asoftware engineer passionate about open source software, Linux, andweb services at scale.

The right candidate willbe part of the team that will provide the backbone to our expandingIoT market, enhancing both our on-prem offering as well as scalingto a global cloud-based platform.

Whatyou'll do

  • Collaborate with a globallydistributed team.
  • Write scalable service APIsin Python and Golang to provide telemetryservices.
  • Develop observability, remotelogging, data acquisition, alert and notification, and edgeprocessing capabilities
  • Work with ourinfrastructure team to develop both a cloud-based SaaS offering aswell as a containerised local on-premsolution.
  • Design and implement new features andenhancements from spec to production atscale.
  • Review code and technical designsproduced by other engineers.
  • Discuss ideas andcollaborate on finding good solutions.
  • Workremotely with global travel 2 to 4 weeks for internal and externalevents.

  • You haveproficiency in developing tooling and libraries, and the design andimplementation of back-end web services, messaging/data pipelines,and REST APIs using python and/or Golang
  • Youare comfortable with Ubuntu as a development and deploymentplatform.
  • You have a Bachelor's orequivalent in Computer Science, STEM or similar degree.
