SupportiveFunctions

PhysicalRequirement 

Performingthese duties requires experience in using basic hand and powertools and the ability to stoop kneel grasp lift push and pullweights up to 80 lbs. climb ladders up to 40 feet high and reach inall directions often timesoverhead

  • Regular attendance inconformance with the standards which may be established by Accorfrom time to time is essential to the successful performance ofthis position. 
  • Due to the cyclicalnature of the hospitality industry team members may be required towork varying schedules to reflect the business needs of thehotel.  
  • Upon employment allteam members are required to fully comply with Accor rules andregulations for the safe and efficient operation of the hotelfacilities.  Team members who violate hotel rules andregulations will be subject to disciplinary action up to andincludingtermination.  
  •  Inaddition this is a hospitality business and a hospitable serviceatmosphere must be projected at alltimes. 

HSERequirements   

PersonalProtective Equipment (PPE) may be required when performing workduties that may have the potential of risk to your health orsafety. The hotel will provide the required PPE. Team members willbe trained in the proper use and care of any assigned PPE. It isyour responsibility to report defective damaged or lost PPE orequipment that does not fit properly to yourManager.

  • Repair orreplace all types of tiles floor and wall as and whenrequired 
  • Maintain the equipment andtools in good order and to maintain all storesorganised. 
  • Responsible for the properuse and security of Ken Fixit equipment andtrolley. 
  • Responsible for engineeringrelated guest room requests and response in a timelymanner. 
  • Responsible to repair orreplace all types of tiles floor and wall as and whenrequired. 
  • Responsible to repair andfix damaged shelving and furniture whennecessary. 
  • Responsible to repair andreplace broken windows doors andlocks. 
  • Carry out general repairs tobrick or block walls. 
  • Carry outplaster repair works to walls. 
  • Carryout general painting works asrequired. 
  • Carry out general plumbingrepairs and silicon sealant replacementetc. 
  • Initiates orders for suppliesfor the trolley and maintain records of workcompleted. 
  • Ensure that all Work OrderPPM & General Maintenance works are executed as directed bythe immediate supervisor. 
  • Ensureengineering area is safe kept clean and in an orderly manner. Keepclose coordination with other engineering staff for smoothoperation. 
  • Follow guest roompreventive maintenance checklist to individually complete roomspreventative maintenance process for guest rooms in efficient andeffective manner. 
  • Ability to findfault and rectify systems as and whenrequired. 
  • Any other duties and taskas and when assigned by the superior or the hotelmanagement 

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge aboutMechanical Electrical Plumbing Carpentry Masonry Painting generalmaintenance is required. 
  • Same fieldas Ken Fix It with minimum 5 years ofexperience.
