KeyAccountabilities

  • Manages base staff by overseeingtheir performance and training in order to ensure high levels ofengagement and productivity.
  • Ensures that Baseand Operational activities are carried out with due regard for Teamsafety and environmental consideration in line with ADNOC 100 % HSEculture and ADNOC HSE Standards.
  • Manages Baseactivities including operations, maintenance, HSE, and logistics toensure resource readiness andpreparedness.
  • Reviews and approves Annual andMonthly Logistics, HSE, Maintenance, and OperationsPlans.
  • Oversees the various HR-relatedprocesses within the Oil Spill & HNS Response Base (such asemployee attendance, leave, medical check-ups) on a dailybasis.
  • Exercises financial authority at theBase level established by the management by endorsing all basepayments.
  • Ensures that expenditures and costutilization are within the base activities in order to ensure thatcosts do not exceed the established budget for thebase.
  • Carries out monthly engagement sessionswith the Base Staff to ensure all the team is updated on Companyactivities and kept informed of all importantinformation.
  • Recognize outstanding individualperformance and encourage the team by utilize the reward platformas per the company procedures..
  • Participateseffectively in all meetings. Also, chairs the internal weeklymeeting with the base team.
  • Reviews and Reportsthe Base Weekly Performance Report to the DepartmentManagement.
  • Provides the required support toassist during all departmental events.

JobSpecific Accountabilities

  • Ensures the support of trainingservices delivery by the Base Employees to ensure effectivecooperation, optimal knowledge transfer, and the overallimprovement of Oil Spill and HNS Responsecapabilities.
  • Trains and coaches Team leaders,Officers, and Responders, and allocates the tasks to Team Leadersto ensure that all activities are carried out at a highlevel.
  • Ensures implementation and documentationof the handover meeting between the incoming and outgoing DutyTeams to ensure optimal communications and operationscontinuity.
  • Supervises directly the Tier 1 TeamLeaders and provides directions and coaching tothem.
  • Ensure meeting the ILSP Tier 1 Contractobligations and KPIs.
  • Provides support to theILSP Team if required.

JobSpecific Accountabilities

  • Supports the implementation of theHSEAI assurance program at the Baselevel.
  • Ensures all applicable ADNOC HSEStandards are implemented effectively with the collaboration of theDepartment's HSE Focal Point.
  • Reviewall the Monthly HSE reports before submitting them to theDepartment's HSE Focal Point.
  • Conductsdedicated PTW Audits of operations, projects, and maintenanceactivities.
  • Recognizes, appreciates, andrewards employees and teams with commendable behaviours; andcommunicates to the Department's HSE FocalPoint
  • Applies disciplinary process to violatorsas per HSE-GA-ST12 HSE Recognition & AccountabilityFramework requirements and closed within the requiredtimeline.
  • Participates in the Site JCAC toinvestigate individual violations resulting from incidents,observations, spot checks, site visits, violations, AI inspections,maintenance failures, etc., and recommend consequences based on theseverity within the required timeline.
  • Carriesout risk assessments for all new and high-risk activities relatedto operations, projects, and technicalactivities

MinimumRequirement

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevantfield or equivalent experience.
  • 8 years ofexperience in Oil Spill & HNS Responsefield.

ProfessionalCertifications

  • OPRC OSR Level 3 or IMO (level3).
  • ICS 100, 200 &300.
  • HNS ManagerialLevel.
  • STCW.
  • T-BOSIET/HUET
