Job Description:

As a Quality Executive Gulf, you will provide effective and efficient quality assurance systems support to the LOC Quality Lead-Gulf. This includes supporting the implementation and maintenance of the QMS and performing day-to-day work to ensure that the quality systems required by the Gulf LOC element of the Supply Chain and Marketing Company Gulf are executed in a lean and efficient manner, meeting compliance standards of the QMS and local regulators.

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Quality Strategy:
    • Maximize team performance through regular coaching sessions.
    • Maintain a high level of QMS knowledge and awareness of changes within the commercial environment to seek opportunities and manage potential business adversity.
    • Act as the relevant Gulf quality contact for the Regional Quality organization, providing communication on progress regarding QMS compliance status, updates on quality plans, and escalation of issues.
    • Gain an understanding of the Supply Chain and Commercial Business and Quality Plans as they link to day-to-day and quality improvement activities.
  2. Quality Systems:
    • Support the LOC Quality Lead-Gulf to ensure a robust, sustainable, and effective QMS through monitoring and reviewing compliance status.
    • Support the implementation and maintenance of effective Quality Assurance systems to ensure compliance with GSK standards, policies, GMP, GDP, and regulatory requirements.
    • Ensure that all SOPs are in place, updated, and that training has been conducted across the business.
    • Promote QMS management principles and seek continuous improvement of processes.
    • Review, conduct impact assessments, and implement updates to QMS policies.
    • Manage QMS Management Review meetings according to local SOPs.
    • Identify, implement, and manage QA Objectives & KPIs.
    • Establish and manage Annual Quality Plans.
    • Support the LOC Quality Lead-Gulf to ensure compliance of internal procedures and systems with GSK QMS and local regulatory requirements.
    • Support the organization of regular LOC Quality Council meetings and ensure standardized reporting to global requirements.

Job Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with the following skills:

  1. Minimum 2 years' experience.
  2. Pharmaceutical or science degree is mandatory.
  3. Fluency in spoken English is a must.
  4. Understanding of and experience in quality assurance systems, particularly in batch release, product incidents, artwork control, and performing audits.
  5. Knowledge of regulatory requirements pertaining to GMP/GDP.
  6. Knowledge of effective quality documentation systems.
  7. Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Ability to deliver clear communications and foster excellent working relationships with peers and management.
  9. Analytical mind, good attention to detail, and problem-solving skills within a structured process.
  10. Good team player – works well in cross-functional teams.
  11. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
  12. Concise in the description of different QA situations and able to adhere to standards under pressure.
  13. Works with a spirit of continuous improvement and innovation, creatively open to new ideas and methods.
  14. Flexible thinking – able to challenge and see views from different perspectives.
  15. Ability to self-motivate, be resilient, and maintain focus under pressure.
  16. Strong general computer literacy with intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Knowledge and usage of Veeva quality Management system.
  2. Pharmaceutical product knowledge.
