JobPurpose:

TheProcurement Coordinator is responsible for sourcing and procuringvehicles globally ensuring costeffectiveness qualityand timely delivery. This role involves suppliermanagement contract negotiation inventorycontrol and risk mitigation to support thecompanys export and rental business. Thecoordinator will collaborate with internal teamsto align procurement strategies withbusiness goals while maintaining compliance withinternational trade and vehicle safetyregulations.

Dutiesand Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement globalsourcing strategies to meet the companys vehicleprocurementneeds.
  • Identify and qualify newsuppliers globally focusing on markets that offer the best value interms of price quality andreliability.
  • Analyse market trendsand conditions to understand supply opportunities andrisks.
  • Build and maintain strongrelationships with key suppliers ensuring the companysrequirements are metconsistently.
  • Negotiate contractsand pricing agreements with suppliers securing favorable terms forthe company.
  • Monitorsupplier performance and ensure compliance with agreedupon qualitystandards delivery timelines and other contractualobligations.
  • Oversee theprocurement process from vehicle selection to delivery ensuringefficiency andcosteffectiveness.
  • Workclosely with internal teams (Sales Marketing Operations andLogistics) to align procurement activities withbusiness objectives.
  • Manageinventory levels to ensure an adequate supply of vehicles for boththe export and rentalbusinesses.
  • Develop and manage theprocurement budget ensuring cost control andachieving
  • targetedsavings.
    Track and report on key procurementmetrics providing insights into cost savingssupplier performance and marketconditions.
  • Identify and mitigaterisks in the sourcing and procurement process includinggeopolitical risks supply chain disruptions and marketvolatility.
  • Ensure compliance withall relevant regulations and standards particularly those relatedto international trade and vehiclesafety.

Skills required:

  • Strategic Sourcing & Procurement:Experience in identifying and qualifying globalsuppliers negotiating contracts and optimizingprocurement processes.
  • Supplier& Vendor Management: Ability to build strong relationshipsmonitor supplier performance and ensure contractcompliance.
  • Financial Acumen:Budget management skills costsaving strategies and procurementcost analysis.
  • Analytical & Market Research Skills: Understanding ofmarket trends risk assessment and supply chaindisruptions.
  • CrossfunctionalCollaboration: Ability to work closely with Sales MarketingOperations and Logisticsteams.
  • Regulatory Compliance:Knowledge of international trade laws vehicle safety standardsand procurementregulations.
  • Problemsolving& Decisionmaking: Strong ability to identify risks managesupply chain challenges and implement solutionseffectively.
  • Proficiency inProcurement Tools & Software: Experience with ERP systemsand procurement software is aplus.

PositionQualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in supply chain managementProcurement Business Administration Logistics or arelated field.
  • A masters degree ina relevant field (preferred but notmandatory).

Professional Qualifications &Experience:

  • 3 years ofexperience in procurement sourcing or supply chain managementpreferably in the automotive or vehicleindustry.
