Job Overview: We are currently seeking a highlymotivated and skilled Floorman to join our team. As a Floorman you will play a criticalrole in the drilling process ensuring the safe and efficientoperation of drilling equipment and machinery. KeyResponsibilities: Assist in the rigup and rigdown of drillingequipment including handling and assembling drill pipes drillcollars and other equipment. Perform routine maintenance andrepairs on drilling equipment including changing out worn ordamaged parts. Operate drilling machinery such as tongs slips andelevators under the direction of the driller. Monitor drillingoperations and report any issues or concerns to the driller. Assistin the loading and unloading of drilling equipment and supplies.Keep the drilling floor and surrounding areas clean and free ofhazards. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure asafe working environment. Communicate effectively with team membersand other personnel on the rig. Qualifications: High School Diplomaor equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience working as aFloorman in the oil and gas industry. Experience operating drillingequipment and machinery. Knowledge of drilling operations andsafety protocols. Ability to work in a physically demandingenvironment including lifting heavy objects and standing forextended periods. Strong communication and teamwork skills.Willingness to work long hours and be oncall as needed. Validdrivers license and reliable transportation. Benefits: Competitivesalary and benefits package.
