This role is responsible for the support of production services within our publishing department.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

Handling every aspect of the production workflow from receipt of manuscripts and the generation of PDFs and XML files to the creation of DOIs and uploading published articles to our publishing platformLearning our house formatting styles, identifying and fixing problematic manuscripts so they conform to this styleBecoming proficient in our cloud typesetting system, able to upload manuscripts and generate appropriately formatted PDFs and XML filesGenerating galley proofs and implementing author correctionsProducing Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) sheets for conference collections and journal issues using the submission systemUploading final files (PDF, XML, Figures) to our publishing platformCommunicating and sending content to different abstracting and indexing databases

You are an enthusiastic, innovative, and proactive person who is comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team. You have no trouble staying organized and juggling multiple tasks, but you are capable of intense focus and attention to detail.

Minimum job qualifications
