MainTasks > Assist in preparing cost estimatesfor power plant construction maintenance and operational projects;Track project expenses across multiple phases (design constructionoperation); Monitor costs associated with energy generation assets(power plants solar farms wind farms etc.) and track operationalefficiency to ensure the project stays within budget; Help withprocurement processes including obtaining quotes and bids fromsuppliers for equipment and services (e.g. turbines transformerselectrical systems); Assist in the evaluation and selection ofvendors ensuring that the power company gets value for money whilemaintaining quality and compliance with industry standards;Identify and assist in managing financial risks related to energymarket fluctuations changes in regulations and operationalinefficiencies; Collaborate with senior cost managers to helpdevelop cost contingency plans for unexpected changes in fuelprices regulatory changes or project delays; Help prepare costreports for senior management regulatory bodies or clients coveringproject status financial performance and budgetadherence.
Requisites> Bachelor's degree in FinanceEconomics Engineering Business or a related field (mandatory).Consulting attitude; Range 5– 15 years of experience in cost management with a proventrack record in the power and utilitiessector. Handson experience managing multiple costoptimization projects with demonstrated success in deliveringresults in complex operational environments; Master'sdegree or MBA preferred but not required. Advanced proficiency inExcelPowerPoint and financialmodellingtools.
