Amazon VendorServices (AVS) is a paid B2B service that helps strategically growcomplex brands on Amazon. As a Strategic Brand Specialist you willhave holistic exposure to ecommerce operations at a European level.In this role you will serve as the lead Account Manager for ourtoppriority vendors directly responsible for delivering highqualityaccount management that exceeds their expectations. Deliveringresults through others by influencing and managing the prioritiesof multiple stakeholders will be a vital part of your role. Youwill collaborate crossfunctionally to design and execute longtermstrategies with your vendors. Leveraging your industry expertiseyou will provide guidance to the account team enabling them todeliver the best customer experience and achieve our goals. Thiswill involve driving selection and promotional activities acrosscategories defining and monitoring success metrics and proposinginnovative solutions to shape the future of AVS. Furthermore youwill collaborate with external decisionmakers such as Sales andAccount Directors as well as internal stakeholders like CategoryLeaders the Head of Vendor Management Supply Chain Management andFinance. In this capacity you will ideate new businessopportunities and bring forward creative ideas to elevate ourservice.

Key job responsibilities

Coreservice:
  • Serve as the leadAccount Manager for our most strategic vendors acting as aconsultant and influential partner for senior stakeholders to drivelongterm growth.
  • Develop and nurture strategiclongterm vendor relationships by delivering exceptional accountmanagement that maximizes vendorsatisfaction.
  • Work backward from vendor andcustomer needs to identify impactful business opportunities thatelevate both the vendor and customerexperience.
  • Design and execute businessstrategies across multiple marketplaces and categories coordinatinglarge crossfunctional teams of Brand Specialists Vendor Consultantsand AVS Experts to deliver results.
  • Determinethe best approach for optimal team productivity on youraccounts.
  • Define and audit metric goals foryour account ensuring the account team is set up for success andremoving blockers with the right resources.
  • Asan industry and Amazon expert drawing from your professionalexperience and knowledge of Amazons tools provide strategicinsights that shape the longterm direction of ourpartnerships.
  • Identify new growth opportunitiesand create customized solutions for scaling across theorganization.
  • Coordinate with internal teamsand customers to implement and scale new AVSServices.
Marketing &Promotions:
  • Design andexecute holistic marketing strategies by collaborating closely withAdvertising and Merchandising teams creating tailored opportunitiesacross Amazons marketing channels.
  • Guide theaccount team to plan negotiate implement and manage promotionalactivities for Amazon events like Prime Day and Brand Weeks helpingyour vendor achieve growth
Selection& IDQ (Item DataQuality):
  • Identify marketopportunities and design creative solutions to unlock the selectionour customers want.
  • Propose and implementsolutions that overcome existing constraints require tradeoffs andultimately elevate the customer experience.
Availability & Operational Excellence
  • Guide the account team to driveoperational excellence initiatives such as reducing costs defectsand lead times by onboarding vendors to supply chainprograms.
  • Collaborate with supply chain teamsto design and build new longterm solutions that improve overallordering effectiveness and optimize inventorycosts.
ProjectWork:
  • Lead key projectsacross the Retail business or AVS organisation owning the projectdesign and strategy delivering end to endresults.

Wewelcome applications from L5 candidates with at least 12 monthstenure at level and experience in Retail or Commercial AccountManagement. Please note that in the case of a successfulapplication the role will be down levelled to L5.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors/Masters degree preferablyin Business Administration Finance Economics Marketing or a similarprogram.
  • Passionate about Account Managementand with several years of Retail or ECommerce Account Managementexperience across buying sales merchandising marketing operationsor logistics.
  • Several years of professionalexperience in managing a business with P&Lresponsibilities.
  • Ability to communicateclearly and effectively with different functional groups includingsenior business leaders finance HR anddevelopers.
  • Proven track record of deliveringresults through others in an ambiguous fastpaced/deadlinedrivenenvironment.
  • Previous experience in managinglargescale projects endtoend with large teamsinvolved.
  • Excellent written and verbalcommunication (English minimum C1level).
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Officeprograms (Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS
  • Knowledge of a 2ndlanguage.
  • Experience using analytical sales andproductivity tools including Salesforce Google Analytics SQL HTMLor website content managementsystems.
  • Analytical problemsolving ability withexperience in data analysis reporting and forecasting to guidebusiness decisions.
  • 3 years of doing one ofseveral roles: management consulting investment bankinganalyst/associate or brand manager role at leading consumerpackaged goods company experience
  • Experience infinancial analysis retail buying retail planning &allocation product/project management marketing businessdevelopment consulting negotiation or supplychain
