Roles and responsibilities

The Financial Planning and AnalysisManager will oversee the development, analysis, and execution offinancial plans and strategies within the organization. This roleaims to ensure effective tracking of profitability through varianceanalysis, developing mitigation roadmap & strategicdecision-making thereby contributing to the company'sfinancial health and long-term growth.

Thisrole provides valuable data driven insights, identifies andmaintains risks and opportunities scorecard on rolling basis, andcollaborates across departments to align financial goals in linewith overall business objectives. Supervises a team of financialanalyst and communicating financial results tostakeholders.

RoleProfile

  • Responsible for the implementation offinancial plans and strategies across the Assets, validatesalignment with overall Asset management Business Unit (AMBU)objectives and market trends.
  • Act as Businesspartner with various mall managers, marketing and leasing clusterleads to identify and develop tactics or initiatives that serve keyoperational, commercial, and financial targets. Identifyingpotential risks and opportunities on rolling basis along withmitigation roadmap and apprising management in the timelymanner.
  • Lead the preparation of reports andpresentations to communicate financial insights and recommendationsto mall management and otherstakeholders.
  • Leading the discussions andcollaborating with all MAF Group companies and other Business unitsin respect of planning deliverables, project feasibilities andmarket insights.
  • Contribute to the evaluationof lease agreements, tenant mix adjustments, and capital projectsto assess their impact on revenue and profitability. Collaborateclosely with leasing professionals and Asset Managementteam.
  • Supervise and monitor the pre-closereview with Global Solution (GS) teams. To ensure timely andaccurate financial results are produced that reflect the truefinancial condition for all fiscal periods.
Desired candidate profile
  • Lead the planningexercises (budgeting and forecasting) for consolidated UAE assetsin specialty leasing and marketing while simultaneously conductingmonthly variance analysis to identify risks and opportunities,ensuring alignment with financial objectives and proactivedecision-making.
  • Continuously develop andenhance planning systems to automate standard, ad hoc managementreports, to streamline the forecasting and budgeting processeswhilst promoting the use of data visualization tools like power bifor financial and non-financial analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's finance orequivalent. Professional qualification such as MBA/ CPA / CMA /ACCA etc., is highly desirable. preferably experience in shoppingmalls industry.
  • Advance user of BI Tools likePower BI, Tableau
  • Advance Microsoft officeskills (Word, Excel, Power point)
  • Experience inworking with Oracle fusion, Hyperion andYardi.
  • Sound working knowledge and applicationof local and international financial standards e.g., IFRSetc.
  • Strong understanding of financialmodelling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques specific toshopping malls.
  • Minimum 8-10 years ofpost-qualification experience working within a finance supportfunction, with exposure to financial and strategic planningresponsibilities.
  • Financial literacy and stronginterpersonal and presentationskills.
  • Excellent analytical skills with theability to interpret and analyse complex retail and leasingdata.
