  • Oversee the implementation ofHealth and Safety internal policies, procedures and processes oncampus, in coordination with CentralServices.
  • Provide support to the ProjectManagement teams to manage the day-to-day safety requirements ofFacilities Management projects on campus, in coordination with thecentral Health and Safety.
  • Perform regularsafety and security inspections of campus facilities, systems andequipment, including first-aid rooms, construction areas,electrical systems and fire extinguishers to ensure compliance withinternational standards, governmental regulations and internalHealth and Safety policies, procedures andprocesses.
  • Prepare and maintain inspectionlogs, suggest improvements when and where required and liaise withCentral Services to report on all findings andrecommendations.
  • Manage and coordinate theinvestigation of campus Health and Safety incidents to determinetheir root cause and provide recommendations to preventreoccurrence in coordination with CentralServices.
  • Develop and maintain incident recordsand coordinate with Central Services to provide them with theinformation required for them to consolidate and maintain a centralmaster incident database.
  • Implement fireevacuation procedures (including exit doors, fire hose location,escape routes and assembly point) and first aid procedures for thecampus, and oversee periodical emergency evacuation drills oncampus.
  • Develop awareness sessions includingoccupational safety workshops and training sessions as part of thecentral Health and Safety awareness plan, to ensure compliance withsafety guidelines and procedures withincampus.

What you need to besuccessful

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’sdegree in a relevant field is required e.g. Occupational Safety andHealth.
  • Minimum of one internationallyrecognised Health & Safety certification (e.g.NEBOSH).
  • Full English proficiency isrequired.
  • Intermediate computer literacy isrequired e.g. MS Office.
  • Minimum of three yearsof relevant work experience in Health and Safety or any relevantfield.
