Positionsummary

Perform Quality Assuranceand Quality Control Activities at various stages of manufacturingas per international standards legal and customer requirements bymonitoring all domestically manufactured & repair productsto ensure the best quality to the enduser.

Essentialfunctions

• Perform inprocess and final inspection as per the drawing route card andnecessary specification/OMSrequirements.
• Perform and maintain the recordsof the calibration/verification activity of the gauges measuringand test equipment with established controlfeatures.
• Ensure product license applicationsand procedures are in compliance as per the licensorsrequirements
• Perform quality assurance check ontools and equipments before dispatching to customerlocation
• Any other delegated tasks orresponsibilities as required provided the requests are reasonableand the employee is capable and competent to fulfillthem.
• Authorized to stop any unsafe operationor acts within Workshop and siteactivities
• Ensure the verification of workorders and the Inspection reports and COC to release theproduct.
• All the process documents shall beinspected before the material is finally released anddelivered.
• Receive inspection of raw materialsrepair goods outside processed material & bought outmaterial
• Report nonconformities to the QA/QCSupervisor/ Manager.

Ensure theidentification and traceability of products remains and shall bemaintained at each level of operations as well as inspection statusof products shall be maintained at alltimes.

Necessary qualificationsskills andabilities

Education/Qualification:

• Educatedto higher secondary level or equivalent in Mechanical or similarEngineeringpreferably.

Experience:

• Minimumof 7 years experience in QA/QCfield
• Experience of the Inspection Measuringand Testing equipment and tools (IMTE) oilfield equipment steelstock manufacturing and machine shops relatedjobs.
• Experience in calibration of IMTE as perAPI and international standards.
• Preferablyknowledge in Oil and Gas experience with machine shop inspectionand down holetools.

TechnicalSkills:

• Understandingand knowledge on product and engineeringdrawings
• Understanding in measuring andmonitoring tools and equipment as well as the calibrationtechnique
• Familiar with inspection of allproducts and services as per quality control plan andspecification:  API 71 API 72 and 5CT as well relevantstandards.
