Working closely with the Senior Leaders inthe property Regional Office and Marketing team to set up establishand drive the resorts financial performance and creating results bymaximizing efforts with innovative marketing and communicationideas. Developing rapports with key media and international mediaagencies. Be responsible to build and develop the hotels sales andmarketing leadership in the geographic assignment. Througheffective management passion and enthusiasm to successfully inspireand coach Marketing team and ensure marketing brand standards arefully respected. You would also oversee the implementation ofMarketing and PR strategies to meet changing market and competitiveconditions as well as monitoring competitor marketing and PRactivities. With the growing importance of social media theresponsibility for monitoring and implementation lies with thisrole.  Establishing and maintaining relationships withindustry influencers and key strategic partners as well as tomaintain a consistent brand image throughout all sales PR marketingand MarComactivities. 

KeyResponsibilities

  • Managedevelop and implement a marketing and communicationsstrategy for the property.
  • Manage thebrand advertising and marketing creative and mediabuying
  • Maintain and direct all third partyrelated agencies as per theresorts requirements
  • Manage aneffective eCommunications and social media strategy to support theoverall business objectives
  • Identify potentialsponsorship and promotional opportunities for the property andmanage the strategic business alliances andrelationships
  • Monitor industry trends and keepsenior managers appraised of the brand perceptions and anypotential issues that would have a negative impact on thebusiness
  • Liaise and meet regularly withindividual property General Managers and Department Heads to ensurethat all specific requirements for marketing related work aremanaged
  • Effectively communicates with alllevels manage reports
  • A strong leader who canarticulate a vision and translate it toreality
  • Be a Brandambassador
  • Participate in the preparation ofthe annual departmental operating budget the marketing planbusiness plan and financial plans.
  • Create andimplement PR plans and set budgets that help promote room food& beverage and spa
  • Ensure dispatch andstrong influx of relevant information to the keymedia
  • Pitch stories to the Maison to Englishand Arabic titles and develop PR coverage reports on a monthlybasis
  • Manage media inquiries and interviewrequests
  • Coordinate photo shoots promotionalvideos and any type of event that has to do with the communicationand / or publicity of the property.
  • Be theguardian of the hotels social mediaplatforms
  • Develop social media campaigns tohelp achieve social media exposure and to drivefollowers
  • Develop and plan social mediacalendar; post daily feed for hotels social media channels perthe brandstandard

Qualifications:

  •  Bachelors degreeor equivalent international degree in Marketing Business orCommerce 
  • 8 years of internationalmarketing and communicationsexperience
  • Previous experience as Director ofMarketing in a luxurious hotel/ resortbrand
