DescriptionThe Division of Engineering at NYU Abu Dhabi is searching for rising scholars to educate the next generation of global leaders. You are invited to apply for an academic support position as instructor with the rank open, depending on experience. Instructors support NYU Abu Dhabi's educational mission by assisting faculty with courses in Computer Engineering. These courses include among others (but not limited to): Computer Organization and Architecture, Data Structures and Algorithms, Computer Programming for Engineers, Object Oriented Programming, Digital Logic and Advanced Digital Logic. Instructors lead discussion sections, hold review sessions, provide assistance with the preparation, development, and assessment of courses, and take part in departmental activities. Participation in professional development opportunities such as attending conferences is expected and supported.NYUAD has state-of-the-art research facilities in a 15-acre campus on Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The core research infrastructure has an extensive and exceptional range of instruments for imaging, fabrication, and characterization. In addition, the Division of Engineering at NYUAD has close collaborations with the faculty and students at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering, and has access to the world-class research centers and infrastructure in New York.
