Digital Marketing Assistant

- Plan and execute alldigital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email,social media and display advertisingcampaigns
- Design, build and maintain our socialmedia presence
- Measure and report performanceof all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROIand KPIs)
- Identify trends and insights, andoptimize spend and performance based on theinsights
- Brainstorm new and creative growthstrategies
- Plan, execute, and measureexperiments and conversion tests
- Collaboratewith internal teams to create landing pages and optimize userexperience
- Utilize strong analytical ability toevaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channelsand customer touch points
- Instrument conversionpoints and optimize user funnels
- Collaboratewith agencies and other vendorpartners
- Evaluate emerging technologies.Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption whereappropriate
Requirementsand skills
- BS/MS degreein marketing or a related field
- Proven workingexperience in digital marketing
- Demonstrableexperience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email,social media and/or display advertisingcampaigns
- Highly creative with experience inidentifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns thatengage, inform and motivate
- Experience inoptimizing landing pages and userfunnels
- Experience with A/B and multivariateexperiments
- Solid knowledge of websiteanalytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture,WebTrends)
- Working knowledge of ad servingtools (e.g., DART, Atlas)
- Experience in settingup and optimizing Google Adwordscampaigns
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, andJavaScript development and constraints
- Stronganalytical skills and data-driventhinking
- Up-to-date with the latest trends andbest practices in online marketing andmeasurement
1.Search Engine Optimization(SEO)
SEOinvolves optimizing a website or online content to rank higher insearch engine results (Google, Bing, etc.) organically. The goal isto increase visibility, drive traffic, and attract potentialcustomers through unpaid or organic searchresults.
- On-PageSEO: Optimizing individual web pages (titles, metadescriptions, headers, images) to make them more searchengine-friendly.
- Off-PageSEO: Building backlinks and other external signalsthat help improve the website's authority andranking.
- TechnicalSEO: Ensuring the website is well-structured forsearch engines (site speed, mobile-friendliness, secureconnections, etc.).
- KeywordResearch: Identifying relevant keywords and phrasesthat potential customers are searching for and incorporating theminto content.
2. SearchEngine Marketing(SEM)
SEMis the practice of using paid advertising strategies to increase awebsite's visibility on search engines. Google Ads(formerly Google AdWords) is the most popular SEMplatform.
- Pay-Per-Click(PPC): Advertisers bid for specific keywords and payeach time someone clicks on their ad. It's a way to getinstant visibility for targetedsearches.
- Google AdsCampaigns: Creating campaigns and ad groupstargeting relevant keywords and measuring their effectiveness usingmetrics like click-through rate (CTR) and conversionrate.
- Remarketing:Showing ads to people who have previously interacted with yourwebsite or business but didn'tconvert.
3. SocialMediaMarketing
SocialMedia Marketing (SMM) is the use of platforms likeFacebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others topromote content, engage with followers, and build brandawareness.
- OrganicSocial Media: Posting content (images, videos,articles) regularly to build engagement and interact with youraudience.
- Paid Social MediaAds: Running paid ads on platforms like FacebookAds, Instagram Ads, or LinkedIn Ads to drive traffic, conversions,and brand awareness.
- InfluencerMarketing: Partnering with influencers to promoteproducts/services to theirfollowers.
- CommunityManagement: Engaging directly with followers,responding to comments, and fostering communityloyalty.
4. ContentMarketing
ContentMarketing focuses on creating and sharing valuable,relevant, and consistent content to attract and retain a targetaudience. The goal is to provide useful information to consumers,build trust, and guide them toward making apurchase.
- Blogging:Writing informative articles related to your industry to driveorganic traffic to yourwebsite.
- VideoMarketing: Creating videos to engage with customers,educate them about products/services, and entertain. YouTube andTikTok are popular videoplatforms.
- E-books/Whitepapers/CaseStudies: Creating in-depth resources that providevaluable information and can be used as lead magnets (offered inexchange for emailsign-ups).
- Podcasts:Producing audio content on relevant topics that can reach anaudience in a different format.
5.EmailMarketing
EmailMarketing involves sending targeted messages to agroup of people with the goal of building relationships, promotingproducts, or nurturingleads.
- NewsletterCampaigns: Regular emails that provide valuablecontent to subscribers (news, tips, updates,etc.).
- LeadNurturing: Sending automated emails to nurturepotential customers through the sales funnel, providing them withrelevant information to move closer to apurchase.
- TransactionalEmails: Emails triggered by specific customeractions, such as order confirmations, shipping notifications, andpassword resets.
