  • Prepare the progress measurementsystem which has weight factor calculations and quantities withearned
  • value. These will be used as supportingdocument for progress reported.
  • Prepareplanning documents such as manpower histograms, which indicate thenumber of people required
  • each month, progressS curves which will indicate the progress that the project makes ata given point of
  • time etc., which are reviewedat periodic intervals.
  • Monitoring progress ofthe work for timely execution of the project through weekly/monthlyreports with
  • respect to review of the overallproject. Progress monitoring on a regular basis and resolve anyproblems,
  • bottlenecks/schedulingconflicts.
  • Participate/ coordinate internalproject team review and review by the client of the work schedule,progress
  • measurement and reportingsystems.
  • Review the status continuously andkeep the Project Control Manager apprised of the progress andthe

EssentialQualifications And Skills

  • Graduate engineer with approximately10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry conversantwith
  • projects and execution. Experience in HO& Site planning.
Desired candidate profile

  • Project Planning andScheduling:

    • Developdetailed project schedules using software likePrimavera P6, MicrosoftProject, or AstaPowerproject.
    • Create workbreakdown structures (WBS) and define project scope, milestones,and deliverables.
    • Develop long-term andshort-term project plans, identifying key project phases and thetimeline for each.
    • Coordinate with engineers,designers, and project managers to understand the full scope of theproject and ensure the schedule reflects all projectneeds.

  • ResourceAllocation andManagement:

    • Identifyand allocate resources (labor, materials, equipment) necessary forthe completion of various tasks in theproject.
    • Optimize resource usage to ensureefficiency while minimizing costs anddelays.
    • Work closely with the projectmanagement team to ensure resources are available as required forthe timely completion oftasks.

  • RiskManagement andMitigation:

    • Identifypotential risks related to project timelines, budgets, resources,or scope changes.
    • Develop risk mitigationstrategies and adjust project schedules to accommodate unforeseencircumstances or changes in scope.
    • Monitorongoing project risks and implement corrective actions asnecessary.

  • ProgressMonitoring andReporting:

    • Track andreport on project progress, comparing actual performance againstplanned schedules.
    • Use project managementsoftware and tools to generate progress reports, highlight delays,and forecast future activities.
    • Provide regularstatus updates to senior management, project teams, andstakeholders, ensuring transparency in project timelines andperformance.

  • CostEstimation and BudgetControl:

    • Work with thecost control and project management teams to monitor project costsand prevent budget overruns.
    • Develop accuratecost estimates for tasks and resources, ensuring that the projectstays within its allocated budget.
    • Suggest waysto optimize costs, including identifying areas where costreductions can be achieved without compromising quality orsafety.

  • CoordinationwithStakeholders:

    • Collaboratewith project managers, engineers, contractors, and subcontractorsto align schedules, tasks, andresources.
    • Liaise with stakeholders tounderstand their needs, provide updates, and address concernsregarding the project schedule.
    • Attend andparticipate in project meetings, offering planning insights andupdates.
