Job Title: Business Analyst cum QA Tester

Reports To: GPO, Sr Director, Credit Systems Group

Organization Unit: Group Retail Credit - Group Risk Management (ENBD)

Location: ENBD GHO, Dubai

Responsibilities:

  1. Creating tests at various levels, including functional, integration, smoke, stress, and performance.
  2. Identifying the testing scope by studying the retail policy change memo/document.
  3. Preparing the relevant test cases for functional/smoke/stress testing of the scope.
  4. Executing the tests and liaising with the development team to explain and fix the issues.
  5. Identifying problems within a business, using data modeling techniques.
  6. Generating testing reports and highlighting the impact on the automation rates against the changes.
  7. Ensuring timely and quality delivery within project timelines.
  8. Envisaging and developing a certification framework that can assess the impact of business logic changes in SAS Decision Manager on the overall portfolio (based on historical data). This could be a combination of smoke, stress, and functional testing for highlighting the impact of configuration changes.
  9. Assessing the impact of business configuration changes on BAU processing and digital automation rates.
  10. Designing and producing reports that can be shared with stakeholders, highlighting the impact.
  11. Creating an SOP for certification of the business logic changes, including the approval matrix, impact report, issues encountered, etc.
  12. Maintaining the repository of change artifacts and releasing the same to tech teams for productionization, working together with the dev team to ensure smooth production cutover.
  13. Liaising with users to help them identify scenarios for verification of the changes.
  14. Liaising with the business users for any clarification of understanding.
  15. Standardizing the TAT requirements for specific queries over time and communicating the same to the stakeholders.
  16. Periodically publishing standard DM and exception handling reports to inform senior management and other concerned personnel.
  17. Raising defects and logging RCAs, bug triaging, and providing sign-off to builds.
  18. Analyzing user requirements and enhancement requests to deliver use cases, GUI, screen, and interface designs as and when required.
  19. Coordinating and liaising with relevant parties for project-related items.
  20. Using activity diagrams, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, flowcharts, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, interviews, and workflow analysis to induce and manage requirements.
