Roles and responsibilities

Our client is seeking a skilledPublic Relations Officer (PRO) to join their team in Dubai. In thisfull-time, on-site role, the PRO will manage visa and immigrationprocesses for expatriate employees, ensuring compliance with UAElabour and immigration laws.

The candidates willbe handling work permits, residency visas, and other governmentdocumentation through platforms like Tamm and Tasheel. The PRO willliaise with government authorities, maintain accurate records, andensure timely renewals.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Handleall employee visa applications, work permits, residency procedures,and renewals for expatriate staff.
  • Serve as themain point of contact with government departments and authoritiesfor tasks related to visa processing, immigration documentation,labour cards, and Emirates IDprocessing.
  • Ensure full compliance withUAE's immigration and labour laws. Provide basic legalsupport related to documentation and regulatoryrequirements.
  • Manage and maintain accuraterecords for all visas, work permits, and legal documents related toemployee mobility.
  • Utilize UAE governmentsystems such asTamm, Tasheel, andothers to manage and track visa applications andrenewals.
  • Provide regular updates and reportsto management regarding visa status, government procedures, andcompliance issues.
  • Handle any administrativetasks related to immigration and legal matters asrequired.

Qualifications:

  • Minimumof 5 years of experience as a PRO in the UAE, with a solidunderstanding of both public relations and legalrequirements.
  • Proficiencyin both English and Arabic
  • Strong knowledge ofgovernment systems like Tamm, Tasheel, and basic UAE labourlaws
  • Relevant degree or certification in PublicRelations, Law, or a related field ispreferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation,and organizational skills.
