Responsibilities of theDentist
  • Provide diagnosis ofpatient's dental status utilizing accepted clinical andradiological techniques.
  • Assess patient'sdental status and arrange for appropriate consultations todetermine treatment needed.
  • Providecomprehensive professional dental treatment to address the oralhealth needs of patients.
  • Provide routinerecall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prostheticservices, prophylaxis and fluoridetreatments.
  • Refer to dental specialists whenappropriate.
  • Manage administrative functions ofthe Dental Office.
  • Supervise the work of dentalhygienists and dentalassistants.
Requirements of theDentist
  • DMD or DDS from accrediteddental school
  • Must have FL license andDEA
  • Must be willing to live and be part of thecommunity of Daytona, FL
  • Competence in allfacets of general dentistry
  • Strong focus onclinical excellence
  • Experiencenecessary
