  • Greet guests with a warm welcome andsmile. Escort them to their tables.
  • Cater totheir requirements by taking food and beverage orders, serving foodand beverages to customers and attending to customers'needs.
  • Communicating the orders to the kitcheneffectively, memorizing the menu and offering recommendations toupsell appetizers, desserts, drinks, etc., in line with Jumeirahstandard operating procedure.
  • Answer inquiriesabout food and beverage items on themenu.
  • Assist guests by explaining how variousmenu items are prepared and describing ingredients and cookingmethods, where applicable.
  • Be aware of allergyinformation on menu items and inform guests where needed orinquired.
  • Inform guests of daily specials orspecial items/promotions not listed on themenu.
  • Check customer identification to ensurethey meet alcohol legal age requirements or requirements as perlocal law.
  • Offer food and wine suggestions.Take food and beverage orders accurately including any specialrequests. Inform the Kitchen as per therequest.
  • Work with bartenders to fill beverageorders. Work with kitchen staff to process and expedite foodorders.
  • Deliver and serve food at tables. Useestablished food handling and serving techniques as per Jumeirahstandard.



Aboutyou:

  • Oneyear of experience in the same position in a restaurant sector:within a 5-star hotel, luxury restaurant, or upscale barsetting.
  • Fluent in English and an additionalinternational language is a plus.
  • Knowledge ofFood and Beverage applications: Micros and Sevenrooms.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional diningexperiences.
