  • Front-EndDevelopment:

    • Developthe client-side of web applicationsthat users interact with directly.
    • Usetechnologies like HTML,CSS,JavaScript, and frameworks likeReact,Angular, orVue.js to create responsive,user-friendly web pages.
    • Ensure cross-browsercompatibility and optimize the front-end for mobile and desktopdevices.
    • Implement interactive features likeforms, animations, and dynamic content to enhance userexperience.

  • Back-EndDevelopment:

    • Build andmaintain the server-side ofapplications, handling business logic, databases, and servercommunication.
    • Work with back-end languages andframeworks like Node.js,Express.js, Python(Django/Flask), Ruby onRails, Java (SpringBoot), or PHP to buildAPIs, manage data, and integrate with front-endinterfaces.
    • Ensure the scalability, security,and performance of the server-sidearchitecture.

  • DatabaseManagement:

    • Design andmaintain databases to store and retrieve applicationdata.
    • Work with SQLdatabases (e.g., MySQL,PostgreSQL, SQLServer) or NoSQLdatabases (e.g.,MongoDB,Cassandra,Redis).
    • Optimizedatabase queries, handle migrations, and ensure data integrity andsecurity.

  • APIDevelopment andIntegration:

    • Developand consume RESTful APIs orGraphQL APIs to enable communicationbetween the front-end and back-end.
    • Integratethird-party APIs and services (e.g., payment gateways, social medialogins, or external data sources) to enhance the functionality ofthe application.
    • Ensure that APIs are secure,efficient, and follow best practices in terms of rate limiting,data validation, and errorhandling.

  • VersionControl:

    • UseGit and platforms likeGitHub,GitLab, orBitbucket to manage code repositories,collaborate with team members, and trackchanges.
    • Follow Gitworkflows like feature branching and pull requeststo maintain code quality andconsistency.

  • Deploymentand DevOps:

    • Deployapplications to production environments using cloud platforms likeAWS,Azure, or GoogleCloud.
    • Work withCI/CD pipelines (using tools likeJenkins, GitLabCI, CircleCI) toautomate testing, deployment, andmonitoring.
    • Ensure applications are properlyscaled, secure, and running smoothly in production, with monitoringand logging set up to trackperformance.

  • SecurityandAuthentication:

    • Implementsecurity best practices to protect applications from commonvulnerabilities like SQL injection,XSS, andCSRF.
    • UseOAuth,JWT, or other authenticationmechanisms to secure user data and applicationaccess.
Desired candidate profile

  1. Front-EndDevelopment:

    • HTML/CSS:Expertise in web page structure andstyling.
    • JavaScript:Proficiency in JavaScript for dynamic, interactivewebsites.
    • ResponsiveDesign: Knowledge of creating mobile-friendlywebsites using frameworks likeBootstrap orMaterialize.
    • JavaScriptFrameworks: Familiarity with modern front-endframeworks like React,Angular, orVue.js.
    • VersionControl (Git): Ability to use Git for tracking andversioning codechanges.

  2. Back-EndDevelopment:

    • Node.js:Strong experience with Node.js andserver-side JavaScript.
    • BackendFrameworks: Familiarity with frameworks likeExpress.js,Django,Flask, Ruby onRails, or SpringBoot.
    • APIs:Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs orGraphQLAPIs.
    • ServerManagement: Understanding of server-side conceptslike HTTP,WebSockets, and databasemanagement.

  3. DatabaseManagement:

    • SQL:Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g.,MySQL,PostgreSQL).
    • NoSQL:Experience with NoSQL databases likeMongoDB,Cassandra, orRedis.
    • ORMs:Experience using Object-RelationalMapping tools likeSequelize (for Node.js),SQLAlchemy (for Python), orActiveRecord (forRuby).

  4. Testing:

    • Knowledgeof unit testing and test-drivendevelopment (TDD).
    • Experience with testingframeworks like Jest,Mocha,Chai,Jasmine, orCypress.
    • Familiaritywith continuous integration (CI) andcontinuous delivery (CD) pipelines forautomating tests anddeployments.

  5. DevOpsandDeployment:

    • Experiencewith cloud services like AWS,Google Cloud, orMicrosoftAzure.
    • Familiarity withDocker andKubernetes for containerization andorchestration.
    • Working knowledge ofCI/CD pipelines,Jenkins, or GitLabCI for automatingdeployment.

  6. Security:

    • Understandingof web security principles, includingHTTPS,authentication, andauthorization (e.g.,OAuth,JWT).
    • Awareness ofcommon vulnerabilities (e.g., SQLinjection, XSS,CSRF) and how to preventthem.

  7. SoftSkills:

    • Communication:Strong ability to communicate technical concepts effectively tonon-technicalstakeholders.
    • ProblemSolving: Excellent troubleshooting andproblem-solvingskills.
    • Collaboration:Ability to work well in cross-functional teams, including productmanagers, designers, and otherdevelopers.
    • Adaptability:Willingness to learn new tools, frameworks, and languages asneeded.
