What YouWill Be Doing

  • Audit all daily roomcharges and local telephone charges (where automatic switchboardsare used) to the guest ledger.
  • Audit all othercharges for the day previously posted to the guestledger.
  • Audit guest ledger charges from alldepartments and balance to control sheets (food and beveragecashier’s reports, long distance traffic sheets, laundrycontrol sheets, etc.)
  • Night Auditor has tocheck the Room Rates and get the signature of the Night Managerconfirming that all room rates are correct as per reservation cardand approval.
  • Determine guest ledger balancesat the close of the day from control figures (DReport).
  • Prepare a nightly list of all guestledger balance in excess of the pre-established balance (usuallyone week’s room sales). One copy should go to theManager, One to the Director of Finance and One to the IncomeAuditor
  • Ensure that credit card sale is tallywith system postings.
  • Responds to requests toundertake any reasonable tasks and secondary duties and to changesas dictated by the hotel, industry and company.

Your Experience AndSkills Include

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as aNight Auditor or similar is anasset
  • Education/Certification in Finance orsimilar
  • Highly responsible &reliable
  • Excellent communication skills, bothwritten and verbal required
  • Pleasantpersonality and positive attitude
