  • Support Talabat Group inreviewing various commercial contracts from a Taxperspective.
  • Support the regional Head of Taxand the parent company in implementing Tax-efficient structures andstrategies.
  • Monitoring changes in the domesticTax laws and regulations to assess their impact on TalabatGroup.
  • Support the regional Head of Tax and theparent company in coordinating different assignments and projectswith external Tax advisors and auditors on technical Tax matters,income Tax accounting, compliance processes, and other special Taxprojects.
  • Preparation of Tax reports andanalysis for various stakeholders, detailing Tax aspects andimplications.
  • Participating in the developmentof any Tax planning initiatives by applying knowledge of Tax laws,foreign Tax laws, and double Taxtreaties.
  • Support Talabat Group in monitoringand reviewing intercompany transactions to ensure that they are inline with the Group's transfer pricing policy anddomestic Tax laws.
  • Perform special Tax projectsand other Tax-relevant duties as assigned by management.

What DidWe Order?

  • Bachelor's degree inaccounting, finance or related field ismandatory.
  • Professional certification such asan ADIT, CPA, ACCA is a plus.
  • 4+ years ofexperience in Tax, preferably in the MENA region, with a Big 4 firmor within an in-house Tax function of a multinationalcorporation.
  • Ability to conduct a Tax analysisindependently.
  • Familiarity with spreadsheetsoftware like Microsoft Excel is also essential for data analysisand reporting.
  • Excellent analytical skills withattention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effectivecommunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability tocollaborate across teams.
  • Must manage multipletasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlineseffectively.
  • High level of integrity, ethics,and professionalism.
