As a Senior DevOps Engineer you willbe responsible for:

  • Monitoringand optimizing software systems to guarantee high availability andperformance for Easygeneratorapplications
  • Investigating and troubleshootinginfrastructural issues in collaboration with the tech team toresolve them efficiently including providing 24/7 oncall supportfor the production systems
  • Researching planningand executing of infrastructural improvements in closecollaboration with the developmentteam
  • Overseeing system security to maintaindata integrity and availability
  • Bridging thegap between development and operations to ensure smoothcollaboration and efficient applicationdelivery
  • Developing infrastructure roadmap andtrackingtasks

Qualifications:

You willrequire the followingskills:

  • Proficiency with configurationsetting up and maintenance of multiple Kubernetesclusters
  • Extensive experience inhighavailability architecture and best practices for managingapplications on AWS Cloud
  • Experience withdistributed source control like Git including branching merging andrelease management
  • Hands on experience ofautomation and CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub Actions OctopusDeploy)
  • Expert knowledge and experience withIaaC tools such as Terraform and AWSCDK
  • Experience managing databases (e.g.Postgres MS SQL MongoDB) caching systems (e.g. Redis Memcached) andmessaging brokers (e.g. RabbitMQKafka)
  • Experience with log management systemsmonitoring and alerting tools like Loki Prometheus Grafana TempoCloudWatch and Opsgenie
  • Experience in scripting(preferably NodeJS Bash PowerShell)
  • Strongknowledge of Linux
  • Solid understanding ofnetworking concepts including TCP/IP DNS routing and networksecurity
  • Handson experience with Cloud Nativeprojects such as External Secrets External DNSKarpenter

Any of the following willbe anadvantage:

  • Familiaritywith Agile concepts and practices
  • Experiencewith GitOps tools like ArgoCD orFluxCD
  • Knowledge of service mesh frameworkssuch as Istio Linkerd Cilium
  • Certificationssuch as CKA and AWS Professional or Specialty would be a strongadvantage
