Our client is a dynamic and innovativeorganization at the forefront of the Web3 ecosystem. Due toambitious and wellfunded expansion plans they are seeking to hire aMidLevel Trading Officer to join their dynamic team.

Role Overview:

As the Trading Officer you will play a key role inexecuting large block trades managing and nurturing clientrelationships and contributing to the overall strategic growth ofthe OTC desk. In this position you will work closely withinstitutional clients and market participants to ensure efficientand profitable transactions. The ideal candidate will bring astrong track record in OTC trading with a preference for experiencein cryptocurrency markets. You will be expected to leverage yourmarket knowledge analytical skills and network to drive businessexpansion and support the growth objectives of the team.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Trade : Facilitate OTC cryptocurrency tradeswhile prioritizing optimal and minimizing marketdisruption.
  • Market Analysis: Keep track of thecryptocurrency market to spot potential trading opportunities andoffer valuable insights to clients.
  • ClientManagement: Foster and sustain relationships with institutionalclients ensuring topnotch service and ongoingsupport.
  • Risk Management: Work closely with therisk team to assess exposure and adhere to regulatory compliancestandards.
  • Strategy Development: Play an activerole in crafting trading strategies and enhancing trading systemsand procedures.
  • Exchange Workflows: Applyexpertise in exchange operations to streamline trade andsettlement.
  • Reporting: Keep detailed records oftrading activities and generate periodic reports formanagement.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelors degree inFinance Economics Business or a relateddiscipline.
  • Trading Experience: Minimum of 3years in OTC trading ideally within cryptocurrencies or financialmarkets.
  • Exchange Expertise: Demonstratedknowledge of exchange trading workflows and operationalprocesses.
  • Market & Tech Knowledge:Strong grasp of cryptocurrency markets blockchain technology andtrading platforms.
  • Strong understanding ofexchange trading operations including order types matching enginesand settlement procedures.
  • Skilled inquantitative analysis and financial modelingtechniques.
  • Exceptional communication andinterpersonal abilities.
  • Capable of thriving inhighpressure fastpacedenvironments.
  • Certifications such as CFA FRM orCAIA are advantageous.
