TheOpportunity:

SecuritiesAnalysts drive portfolio outperformance through timely andimpactful coverage of stock holdings across firm strategies andindustry/thematic research for the IPC. Analysts cover specificindustries and learn about trends in theirspace.

You'll cultivate research andmarket knowledge alongside motivated peers who share a passion formarkets and learn the quantitative and qualitative skills used bysuccessful analysts with in-depth training and a diverse,supportive environment. You will develop an expertise in yoursector/industry coverage and an understanding of emerging trendsand how they relate to FI’s key top-down themes. You willreport to the Securities ResearchManager.

You’ll deliver timely andrelevant research to the IPC and generate impactful portfoliorecommendations.

TheDay-to-Day:

  • Develop a comprehensive knowledge ofour investment philosophy, process, portfolio themes andrationales
  • Build expertise on an assignedsector to understand how market events impact forward relativereturns, and develop and hone new and/or existing portfolio themesand views
  • Provide the Investment PolicyCommittee (IPC) with regular and ad hoc performance analysis andcommentary, and proactively help to identify industries and stockslikely to outperform selectedbenchmarks
  • Participate in InvestmentRoundtables, Fisher Client Forums, and client/prospect meetings,and provide critical commentary to our Private Client Group, FisherInternational and Institutional Group via written and oralcommunications

YourQualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experiencein equity research
  • Have strong verbal andwritten communication skills and the ability to interact withmultiple audiences over several platforms, and a desire to supportclient service and sales efforts
  • Communicatesin an Actionable, Concise, and Efficient manner to drive portfolioimpact
  • Have the intellectual flexibility anddrive to rapidly learn and test new ways of thinking, doing andcommunicating, while being comfortable withambiguity
  • Likes working with data to derivefact-based insights
  • Empathetic and appreciatesothers’ strengths and opportunities for growth
