The Service Technician will support theWarranty and Defect Notification Period activities to fulfill therequirements of the Dubai New ATM System and the TopSkyATCsystem.

The following Roles &Responsibilities are to be conducted within minimal input fromCLIENT:

1. Travel to other DANS sites where theproject equipment and systems have been deployed asrequired.

2. Conduct fault investigations andensure all tasks follow appropriate processes and proceduresconforming to service delivery requirements.

3.Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely delivery ofsupport services.

4 Maintain accurate records ofwork and results in accordance with appropriateprocedures.

5. Enter incident/fault data into thedata collection system as required.

6. Liaisewith the warehouse for the distribution issue and recovery ofrepairable and consumable equipment.

7. Generateand submit required reports including weekly and monthly servicereports.

8. Monitor and achieve SLA related toservice delivery.

9. Support the Service Managerin managing and executing warranty serviceactivities.

10. Ensure the availability of spareparts to meet warranty support requirements.

11.Liaise with concerned parties to ensure efficient replacement ofdefective items within the contracted Turn Around Time(TAT).

12. Monitor and track incidents loggedinto the incident reporting system.

13. Provideinitial diagnosis and basic troubleshooting for relevantincidents.

14. Coordinate with the Client andSubcontractor to collect faulty items and manage theirreplacement.

15. Prepare necessary documentationincluding delivery notes shopping carts purchase requests and GSRon the SAP system.

16. Validate Subcontractorpayment applications.

17 Monitor hardwareobsolescence in coordination with the Warranty Manager &Australia Service Delivery Manager and follow up hardware designchanges.

18 Ensure the availability of directremote access VPN connection between the T&V platform ofthe Dubai Replacement ATM System and Factory in MelbourneAustralia.

19. Cover RME duties on site in theevent of their absence for a significantperiod.

20. Maintain uptodate and accurateinventory of buffer spares and Client spares during thewarranty/DNP period.

21.Prepare and submit MethodStatements Risk assessments and Permits to Work required forwarranty service activities.

22. CoordinateWarranty Services Review meetings with all concernedparties.

23. Assist the Client and RME inresolving hardware problems as necessary.

24.Ensure product safety requirements are not compromised and adhereto local safety procedures.

25. Prepare andregister documents related to the warranty/DNP period and obtainthe Client approval.

26. Draft outgoing lettersfor the signature of the Service DeliveryManager.

27.Register incoming and outgoingletters related to the warranty/DNPperiod.

28.Apply for and manage material entryexit and personal permits for DXB DWC and SHJ airports during thewarranty and DNPperiod.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree inSystems Engineering or Computer Sciences from an accrediteduniversity or college.

2. Intermediate knowledgeof UNIX/LINUX operating systems.

3. Intermediateknowledge of computer peripherals (I/O devices storage devicesprinters and displays).

4. Advanced knowledge ofnetworking data transmission and protocols(TCP/IP).

WORK EXPERIENCEREQUIREMENTS

1. 6 years in a service deliverysupport role.

2. Awareness of critical 24/7operational systems service providing & the capability ofprioritizing incidents in case of occurrence to ensure theoperational service continuity

3. Previousexperience as a Service Technician or similar role ispreferred.

4. Experience in RCA and mastering atleast 3 methods.

5. Experience of managing theinstallation and integration of complex computer systems includingnetwork switches servers routers andfirewalls.

6. Working Experience at operationalairports (preferably DXB/DWCairports).

1. Knowledgeof the TopSky ATC system

2. Excellent verbal andwritten communication skills in English (Arabic is aplus).

3. Proven technical knowledge andunderstanding of IT technologies.

4. CISCOnetwork knowledge (CCNA CCNP ..)

5. Basicknowledge of Cybersecurity.

6. Excellentreporting skills.

7. Strong problemsolving anddiagnostic abilities.

8. Ability to work underpressure and meet deadlines.

9. Good organizationtask prioritization and time managementskills.

10. Understanding of maintaining highstandards.

11. Experience with RequirementsManagement and Configuration Management tools such as DOORSPolarion Jira.

12. Strong knowledge of SAP forpreparing shopping carts PR and issuing GSR.

13.Strong electronic troubleshooting knowledge andskills.

14.Intermediate knowledge of MicrosoftWindows and graphical user interfaces

Proficiencyin Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint andVisio).

15. Ability to manage Subcontractors andsuppliers.

16. Advanced knowledge of personneland equipment safety requirements.

17. Proactiveand a selfstarter with a willingness to help in any areas thatrequire attention.

18. Good team player withadaptability to varying situations.

19.Excellenttechnical skills.

20.Understanding of therelationship between hardware software andperipherals.

21. Ability to work flexible hoursincluding evenings and weekends if necessary.

22.UAE resident or ability to qualify for a work permit inDubai.

23. Valid UAE DrivingLicense.
