Overallresponsibilities:

  • Thisrole will be focal point for all quality related matters of theproject and work closely with Project Manager client qualitycounterparts and Corporate QAQC Representative inEEIC.
  • Responsible for all quality assurance andquality control related matters for project assigned and supervisethe team of QC Inspector and subcontractors QCInspectors.
  • Responsible for implementation ofQMS of EEIC and establish the QMS for the project as per ADNOCstandards and procedures.
  • Executes audits inaccordance with approved auditschedules.

Day to dayresponsibilities:

  • Developingmanaging implementation and maintaining Project Quality ManagementSystem in accordance with approved Project Quality Plan and ensurethat same are effectively implemented &maintained.
  • Developing Quality system QualityControl Procedures / Plans Work procedures and inspection and testplans.
  • Provide guidance / training to implementProject QMS requirements; Ensure Project quality policies Qualityobjectives / KPIs are clearly understood andimplemented.
  • To review Project Quality Planregularly for adequacy and revise ifrequired.
  • Verify the Quality documents aredistributed for effectiveimplementation.
  • Project QMS/ PQP implementationand internal as well as subcontractors auditscheduling.
  • Leading Project Quality Auditingand conversant in issue of nonconformance investigate root causesand recommendations for corrective actions to prevent recurrence inthe project.
  • Manage and supervise all QA/QCfunctions / activities performed during engineering procurementconstruction Installation Mechanical Completion Precommissioningand up to final acceptance by enduser.
  • Preparation implementation monitoringrevision and updating of Project quality plan Quality ControlProcedures ITPs etc.
  • To monitor and report theweekly and monthly KPIs to implement the timely correctiveaction.
  • Manage all Quality Assurance &Control (QA/QC) functions in the project and manage a team of QA/QCEngineers QC inspectors (Welding Painting / Coating CivilE& I) for daytoday QA/QC functions in theproject.
  • Attend kick off meetings to provideQA/QC input Determine inspection level and requirements of product/material
  • Review and approve product /materialrequisitions and validate QCrequirements
  • Provide Quality input to technicalbid evaluations Review and approve necessary vendor and supplierdocuments including ITPs NDE procedures and reports ManufacturingRecord Books
  • Support 3rd party inspectioncoordination process and review inspection reports and releasenotes
  • Review and approval of subconstractorsand commissioning ITPs
  • Review construction andcommissioning workpacks prior to siteissue
  • Conduct review of project technicalqueries and standard deviation requests
  • Verifycompleteness of vendor and project documentation and Supportimplementation of quality continuous improvementinitiatives
  • Ensure the closure of Qualityrequirements for project close out
  • Regularquality reporting as required and ensure the satisfactory reportingtracking and closure of project NCRs and PreventiveActions.
  • Quality input to project lessonslearned and risk management sessions
  • Developand execute contract quality programs in accordance with Contractand/or Projects Execution Planarrangements
  • Executes audits in accordance withapproved auditschedules.

Qualifications:

  • MinimumBachelor Degree in Engineering (Electrical Mechanical or relatedfield) with sufficient experience (10 Years) and minimum05 years in Sr. QAQC Engineer role in corporate or contractingenvironment in construction preferably oil & gas power andutilitysector.

  • Experiencelevel: 10 years or more
  • 05 years or moreexperience in an EPC contracting companies OEMs in oil &gas power and utilities sector.
  • Exposure /Knowledge in Onshore Pipeline construction On Plot Piping Flow line/ Trunk line Construction Well Head TieIns Tank FabricationProjects etc.
  • Relevant background / Inspectionexperience in welding (Pipeline & Piping) Pipeline FieldJoint coating application (3LPP 3LPE FBE U/G coating painting) NDTinspection and other construction activities / inspections relatedto Civil E & I discipline.
  • Goodexperience in inspection and testing activities related toprocedure qualification test Applicator Qualification test of 3LPE3LPP 2LFBE External line pipe coating A/G Painting and Coatingactivities etc.
  • Experience / Knowledge inimplementation of lesson learnt process in the project and ensurethat same nonconformity / lessons shall not be repeated throughoutproject lifecycle.
  • Experience / fully familiarwith codes and standards such as ASME ASTM API ISO etc. used in oiland gas industries. Familiar with SHELL DEP ADNOC Onshorespecifications are an addedadvantage.
  • Knowledge in Conducting Weldingprocedure Qualification & Welder Qualifications for Oil& Gas Projects (Pipeline Piping Well Head Tieins etc.) inaccordance with applicable Codes andStandards.
