JobPurpose:

  • The ProjectManager will manage the EPC project life cycle from initiationexecution control commissioning and close out. Create deliveryexcellence on assigned project provide certainty and confidence toclient.
  • Maximize client service quality andfinancial responsibility this involves managing activities relatedto project scope time cost cash flow quality communicationsresources and riskcomponent.

Overallresponsibilities:

  • Formulatethe project team and participate in project kickoff meetingsunderstand scope of work estimation basis execution andsubcontracting strategy and execute theproject.
  • Coordinate with client Project Managerand project management team and set up project information systemand communications.

Dayto dayresponsibilities:

  • Asper project scope in collaboration with the planning team establishwork procedures sequences and develop schedules budgets staffingrequirements vendor lists and progressmilestones.
  • Manage technical issues with teamand client. Regularly reports project progress to senior managementand/or the client.
  • Manage a project team toensure project safety scope schedule and budgets are being trackedand implemented.
  • Establishes project proceduresand leads production of project execution plan including the scopeof work deliverables list master schedule budget org charts riskregister.
  • Facilitates the setup of informationmanagement systems / applications as applicable to suit variouslife phases of projects and manage information management projectteam.
  • Reviews and analyzes the cost and costcontrol progress financial and other sitegenerated data to evaluatejob status and progress.
  • P & Lresponsibility with associated commercial and financialaccountability including revenue delivery margin and overheadmanagement budget and forecast determination and attainment riskand opportunity reviews cost controls accounts payable/billing andcash collection.
  • Negotiates changes to projectscope or specification with the client. Follows Change Managementprocess to identify and approve modifications to scope costschedule and quality.
  • Responsible for deliveryof agreed schedule and financial performance proactivelyintervening to avoid slippage.
  • Ensurescompetence of project team members to carry out assigned work andresponsible for ensuring project team members are competent tocarry out assigned duties.
  • Leads ongoing focuson risk identification and mitigation during projectexecution.
  • Responsible for the project HSSEleadership ensures a program of initiatives and auditing scheduleare established and that HSSE and quality management issues areproactively addressed.
  • Interact with client toproactively resolve issues and at projects completion to obtainfinal client approvals.
  • Maintains a continuingbusiness relationship with all client as part of ongoing businessdevelopment efforts.
  • Responsible for theproject HSSE leadership ensures a program of initiatives andauditing schedule are established and that HSSE and qualitymanagement issues are proactivelyaddressed

Qualifications:

  • MinimumBachelor Degree in Engineering (Electrical Instrumentation orMechanical) with (15 Years minimum) in the Oil &Gas industry. Affinity and familiar with Engineering Procurementand Contracting aspects in the business both onshore andoffshore.

  • 15 years or moreexperience UAE or Middle East
  • Minimum03 years as Project Manager on medium to large scaleprojects in similar business or industry
  • HSEleadership compliance and ability to work in multidisciplinaryteams.

Skills &ProfessionalRequirements:

  • Provenproject management experience as well as a good understanding ofbusiness issues.
  • Good level of experience inthe related field industry and locations of the work inUAE.
  • Have worked as a Project Manager on theelectrical projects.
  • Experience working onbrownfield projects is preferred.
  • Brownfieldexperience in replacement of switchgears in oil and gasindustry.
  • Knowledge of commercial and contractconditions applicable to the procurement of various types of goodsand services.
  • Good knowledge and experience inproject monitoring and forecasting
  • Ability tomanage change control process on project with subcontractors andinterfaces (if any).
  • Indepth knowledge of alltypes of project information (deliverables) and its uses andcapable of managing information management projectteam
  • Good knowledge of all handover andcloseout activities required for client andsuppliers.
  • Understanding of Cash Flowmanagement as well as projection/forecast of cost atcompletion.
