Workshop Incharge

We are looking for anexperienced Workshop Incharge to oversee andmanage the daily operations of our MEP (MechanicalElectrical and Plumbing) workshop. The ideal candidatewill be responsible for supervising fabrication assembly andmaintenance activities ensuring quality control and managing a teamoftechnicians.

KeyResponsibilities:

WorkshopOperations &Supervision

• Manageand supervise daily operations of the MEPworkshop ensuring smooth execution of fabricationassembly and repair works.
  
• Lead ateam of 60 labourers and multiple MEP supervisors to meet projectrequirements.
  
• Oversee the properfunctioning and utilization of workshop machines tools andequipment.
  

TeamLeadership & LaborManagement

• Assigntasks and ensure proper workflow among technicians welderselectricians and plumbers.
  
• Train andmentor workers to improve efficiency and technicalskills.
  
• Monitor attendanceproductivity and discipline within theworkshop.
  

QualityControl &Compliance

• Ensureall fabricated MEP components meet quality standards and projectspecifications.
  
• Conduct regularinspections and testing of MEP systems beforedispatch.
  
• Enforce compliance withsafety regulations UAE labour laws and companypolicies.
  

Material& InventoryManagement

• Maintainand track stock levels of materials tools and spareparts.
  
• Coordinate with theprocurement team for timely ordering of requiredmaterials.
  
• Implement effectiveinventory control measures to prevent wastage andshortages.
  

Machine& EquipmentMaintenance

• Ensureall workshop machines and tools are properly maintained andserviced.
  
• Schedule preventivemaintenance to avoid breakdowns anddelays.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolvetechnical issues in equipment andtools.
  

Requirements

• Experience:Minimum 5 years in MEP workshop managementhandling large labour teams andmachines.
  
• LeadershipSkills: Strong ability to manage train and supervise ateam of 60 workers and multiplesupervisors.
  
• TechnicalKnowledge: Expertise in MEP fabrication electrical panelsducting plumbing welding andassembly.
  
• MachineHandling: Experience with CNC machines cutting toolswelding machines and other workshopequipment.
  
• ProjectManagement: Ability to meet project deadlines optimizeproductivity and controlcosts.
  
• Safety& Compliance: Knowledge of UAE labour lawsworkshop safety protocols and quality controlstandards.
  
• ProblemSolving:Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical electrical andoperationalchallenges.
  
• Reporting& IT Skills: Basic proficiency in MS Office ERPsystems and reportingtools.
