Job Title: Construction Mechanical Completion Engineer (MCE)Reference: PIR 435502820Project: Ras Laffan 4355, QatarJob Location: Ras Laffan 4355, QatarStarting date: 15 March 2025Hours/rotation: Rotation of 60 days on site and 10 days off (paid) & 2 days traveling (paid)Salary range: Excellent salary package with benefitsBenefits:Single Status.Accommodation provided by the company.Transportation provided by the company.Round trip ticket on each rotation (Economy class).Job summary/Role descriptionMechanical Completion Engineer ensures the execution of all aspects related to Mechanical Completion, both in Home Office and at Site.Duties and responsibilitiesIn case of MILEMATE (c) utilization in a specific project, he/she will follow all MILEMATE(c) activities for the specific project, interfacing with Mechanical Completion Leader.Set up the construction / pre-commissioning / commissioning master ITP models.Co-operate with Mechanical Completion coordinator, Engineering and Commissioning team to ensure that all the deliverables required to build the Completion Database are in line with the contractual requirements.Upload in MILEMATE (c) the information prepared by the Engineering functions.Generate all models necessary for reporting of site inspection for each TAG.Participate in the development of MM training program for various project roles.Ensure the set-up of the user account of nominated person of Construction Quality.Perform the gap analysis between Company master ITP models and the project approved ITP models limited to construction.Verify the models applicability / Family TAG gap analysis for Construction phase.Validate the Data collection uploaded in MILEMATE (c).At site, operatively reporting to the Mechanical Completion Coordinator or Construction Quality Manager, the main duties and responsibilities are:Receive original punch list, recording them on the punch list record logbook and assuring their insertion in MM.Monitor punch list progress, maintaining the updated report of the closed items.Provide punch lists printouts to supervisors and collect approval signatures.Monitor discipline completion, issuing the Discipline Acceptance Certificate according to Handover Procedure.Monitor Field Completion Dossier status for each Subsystem/System.Assign Subsystems/Check Sheets to each component/TAGS according to approved ITPs.Participate in Weekly meetings with Construction/Commissioning teams.Verify that all the Punch points are properly characterized in the punch list forms.Prepare all daily/weekly/monthly Mechanical Completion reports.Lead Construction team to handover DAC (Discipline Acceptance Certificate).Lead Commissioning team to handover MCC (Mechanical Completion Certificate).Issue DAC, MCC and RFSU with proper certificates and documents.Prepare the Final dossier (field inspection certification dossier).Help the Mechanical Completion Coordinator / Engineers to populate the data into MILEMATE (c).Scan all the completed Check sheets to MILEMATE(c), insert/close the Punch Lists in MILEMATE (c), archiving properly all the documents.Person SpecificationKnowledge & QualificationsUniversity degree or diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent.ExperienceSignificant experience in the industrial construction of large or XL gas plants.Covered a similar role in at least 2-3 projects of comparable size.A minimum of 12-15 years of relevant experience.Skills and AbilitiesExcellent communications and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail, management skills.Team-oriented skills, self-motivation, and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.Special Requirements and CommentsAttention to detail, management skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
