Bâoli Dubai is a dynamic restaurant, nightlife hotspot and poolside, combining an elevated culinary experience with an energetic night scene. Guests are invited to relish in a culinary experience of coastal French-Mediterranean dishes blended with East Asian flair.

We are seeking an energetic and passionate Bar Back to join our team at Baoli Dubai. The Bar Back supports bartenders by ensuring that the bar area is fully stocked, organized, and clean. The Bar Back helps maintain efficient bar operations, contributing to a smooth and enjoyable experience for guests. The ideal candidate will have proven bar experience and a passion for providing exceptional guest service.

Principal Accountabilities

  1. Keep bartenders supplied with beverage, ice and mixers and clean glassware.
  2. Support bartenders with bottle service and bussing, helping to clear and reset tables and bar areas as needed.
  3. Monitor and ensure the bar's inventory is well-stocked, ordering and replenishing supplies as required.
  4. Order, receive, and stock bar supplies and retail products, ensuring timely and accurate replenishment.
  5. Set up and restock product displays, maintaining an organized and attractive presentation.
  6. Efficiently and consistently restock bartender serving stations with necessary items, including beverages, ice, fruits, straws, and napkins.
  7. Follow standards for merchandising, stock rotation, and sorting of all products, ensuring a professional and clean presentation at all times.
  8. Collect, wash, sanitize, and restock all glassware and barware, ensuring a steady supply for bartender use.
  9. Manage opening and closing duties, including thoroughly cleaning the entire bar and back area to maintain cleanliness and readiness for the next shift.
  10. Properly handle and dispose of waste materials, including broken glass, empty bottles, and other trash, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  11. Provide support to team members in understanding bar procedures and equipment usage.
  12. Promptly report any issues or discrepancies with inventory, equipment, or guest service to the bartender or manager to address problems swiftly.
  13. Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products and equipment, ensuring a safe and hygienic work environment.
  14. Perform other duties pertinent to this job as assigned.

Ideal Candidate

  1. At least high school diploma.
  2. Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position in a high-volume, fast-paced beach club.
  3. Excellent communication skills.
  4. Positive and high energy level.
  5. Highly cooperative team spirit.
  6. Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
