Assistant Manager – Audit & Loss Prevention

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Operational / Process Audits / Investigations / Functional Audits
    • Conduct regular compliance and operational audits, shrinkage reviews, transaction analysis, and fraud investigations to identify and address discrepancies and potential losses.
    • Conduct and review cross functions and eliminate the abnormalities.
  2. Process review & Cost Optimization
    • Emphasizes process review and implementation of updated procedures (SOPs).
    • Conduct thorough cost-benefit analyses, develop and implement cost-saving strategies, and make data-driven decisions regarding cost optimization initiatives, considering both short-term and long-term implications.
    • Monitor, analyze, and control stock loss, ensuring inventory accuracy through regular stock takes, audits, and reconciliation of virtual and physical inventory. Involve in warehouse Stock Take & Cycle Count process and ensure process adherence.
    • Regularly monitor, track, and publish a Damage (Trouble Inventory) Dashboard and coordinate with respective stakeholders to reduce inventory/revenue leakages.
  3. Ad-hoc Reports and Reconciliations
    • Perform ad-hoc data analysis to target various business problems and recommend solutions backed with data & insights.
    • Publish Report Dashboard for pending deliveries/sales and report discrepancies and findings. Perform inventory adjustment reports and validate data with approval processes on a monthly basis. Correct normal return data and ensure accurate virtual location inventory reconciliation.
    • Manage ageing inventory reconciliation, including reservation validation, and reconcile e-commerce sales.
  4. Learning and Development
    • Elaborate on Audit testing parameters and Control Enhancement by classroom or on-the-job training regarding Process/Compliance Audit parameters and SOP adherence.

KEY JOB DELIVERABLES:

  1. Revenue Leakage Savings (Stock Loss Saving, Damage Savings, and fast trouble/damage inventory liquidation).
  2. Retail & Warehouse Operational & Process Audits to place controls and adherence of SOPs/Processes.
  3. Conduct cross-function or expenses overheads audits, review processes, plug gaps, and implement best controls to reduce losses.
  4. Perform ad-hoc data analysis to target various business problems and recommend solutions backed with data & insights.
  5. Conduct classroom training for retail and warehouse staff focused on loss prevention methodologies.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Commerce/Finance - Graduate/Postgraduate, CA Inter or Grade B/C Management College.
  • 5+ years of experience in Audit, Loss Prevention, Inventory Controlling, Data Analysis & Adhoc Reporting.
