Responsibilities

KeyTasks and Responsibilities:

  • Perform Design and Engineeringprocess facilities within a specified time while adhering tomaintenance, safety, and quality standards, considerconstructability, economics, and operation into account duringPre-FEED, FEED, or Detailed Designphases
  • Develop 3D Models and ensure clash freemodel in coordination with all other disciplinesrequirements,
  • Approve drawing including plotplans as per project specifications, McDermott Procedures, ProcessDesign practice
  • Complete assignments andfacilitate the work activities of others

  • When acting as Lead orarea lead, lead the project in a Multi Office Project ExecutionEnvironment (MOPEX)
  • Support and superviseless-experienced members within the designteam
  • Ensure that the work is carried out inaccordance with McDermott requirements, Client and Statutory DesignCodes, Standards, or Procedures with a particular focus on Healthand Safety Policies

  • Exercise judgment, based on previousexperience, practices, and precedents, to identify and solveproblems that arise with little or noprecedent

Qualifications

EssentialQualifications and Education:

  • 10 years min with major contractor orconsultant of which 10+ years of experience in oil and gasperforming Pre-FEED, FEED, and DetailedDesign
  • High School graduate with a diploma inMechanical Design, or Drafting in a related discipline orequivalent experience
  • Detailed knowledge of 3DCAD system including E3D or SP3D
  • Minimum 1 or 2projects working experience in E3D and/orS3D
  • Detailed knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Autolisp
  • Familiar with the associated localregulatory environment and international and national industrystandards and specifications
  • Capable of Leadingprojects
  • General understanding of how processequipment is maintained andoperated
  • Programming, 3D Modeling, Menu, and/orMacro compilation skills would be anadvantage
  • Flexible for businesstraveling/assignments
  • Knowledge of QA Systemsand a good communicator
