JobOverview:
We are seeking anexperienced Accountant with a background inworking within a medical center environment for one of ourprestigious medical center in Al Ain. The idealcandidate will have comprehensive knowledge of accounting processestelemedicine experience as well as expertise in insurance claimfollowups (specifically with Daman and other insurance companies).Additionally the role requires experience in HR and payrollmanagement ensuring accurate financial records compliance withrelevant laws and effective administration of employeebenefits.
KeyResponsibilities:
Accountingand FinancialManagement:
- Managedaytoday accounting functions including general ledger entriesaccounts payable and accountsreceivable.
- Reconcile financialdiscrepancies and ensure timely and accurate posting of alltransactions.
- Prepare monthlyquarterly and annual financial statements and reports includingbalance sheets profit and loss statements and cash flowreports.
- Assist with budgetingforecasting and variance analysis to ensure financial health andstrategic planning.
- Ensurecompliance with accounting standards policies and procedures aswell as relevant tax laws andregulations.
- Managedaytoday accounting functions including general ledger entriesaccounts payable and accountsreceivable.
InsuranceClaim Processing and FollowUp (Daman & Other InsuranceCompanies):
- Coordinateand manage insurance claims processing ensuring that all medicalservices are properly documented for insurancepurposes.
- Follow up withDaman and other insurance providers to resolveany billing discrepancies outstanding payments or claimrejections.
- Ensure the accuratesubmission of claims and required documentation in line with theguidelines set by insuranceproviders.
- Communicate withinsurance companies to ensure that payments are processed in atimely manner.
- Resolve any disputesor issues with insurance claims ensuring appropriate action istaken and payments arecollected.
- Coordinateand manage insurance claims processing ensuring that all medicalservices are properly documented for insurancepurposes.
TelemedicineBilling &Administration:
- Overseethe financial aspects of telemedicine services including patientbilling insurance claim processing and paymentcollection.
- Ensure accurateinvoicing and billing for telemedicine consultations in line withboth medical centre policies and insurance companyrequirements.
- Coordinate withtelemedicine service providers to ensure proper billing practicesare followed.
- Monitor and report ontelemedicine service utilization and related revenuestreams.
- Overseethe financial aspects of telemedicine services including patientbilling insurance claim processing and paymentcollection.
HR& PayrollAdministration:
- Administerpayroll processing for medical centre staff ensuring timely andaccurate payment of salaries andwages.
- Maintain payroll recordsincluding deductions overtime bonuses and taxcalculations.
- Ensure that HR recordsare accurate and uptodate including leave balances employeecontracts and other personneldocuments.
- Handle endofservicebenefits vacation accruals and other employee entitlements inaccordance with UAE laborlaws.
- Assist in the recruitmentprocess onboarding and maintaining personnel files for allemployees.
- Administer employeebenefits such as medical insurance and ensure that benefits areprovided as per company policy and legalrequirements.
- Manage employee timeand attendance records to ensure accurate payrollprocessing.
- Administerpayroll processing for medical centre staff ensuring timely andaccurate payment of salaries andwages.
Taxand ComplianceManagement:
- Ensurecompliance with local regulations and tax laws including VAT andother relevant taxes.
- Work withexternal auditors to ensure proper tax filing and annual auditprocesses.
- Prepare necessary reportsand documentation required for tax filing and regulatorycompliance.
- Ensurecompliance with local regulations and tax laws including VAT andother relevant taxes.
FinancialReporting andAnalysis:
- Preparedetailed financial reports and provide insights into financialperformance and trends.
- Assistsenior management with financial planning forecasting andidentifying costsavingopportunities.
- Maintain and updatefinancial systems ensuring data accuracy andsecurity.
- Support internal auditsand ensure adherence to company policies and financialregulations.

CollaborationandCommunication:
- Workclosely with other departments including HR operations and medicalbilling to ensure smooth financialoperations.
- Provide guidance andsupport to the management team in understanding financialperformance and key metrics.
- Liaisewith external auditors insurance providers and government bodiesfor financial and compliancerelatedmatters.
- Ensure clear and opencommunication with team members regarding accounting payroll andinsurancerelatedprocesses.
- Workclosely with other departments including HR operations and medicalbilling to ensure smooth financialoperations.
RequirementsQualifications:
Education:
- ABachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a relatedfield.
- Additional certification suchas ACCA CPA or similar is aplus.
- ABachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a relatedfield.
Experience:
- Minimumof 35 years of accounting experience preferablywithin a medical center or healthcareenvironment.
- Handson experience withinsurance claims management (Daman and otherinsurers) billing processes and telemedicineservices.
- Proven experience inHR and payroll management particularly inprocessing employee salaries benefits and compliance with UAE laborlaws.
- Experience withfinancial software (e.g. QuickBooks Tally SAPetc.).
- Minimumof 35 years of accounting experience preferablywithin a medical center or healthcareenvironment.
Skills:
- Strongknowledge of medical billing andinsurance claimprocesses.
- Proficiency intelemedicine billing systems (ifapplicable).
- Indepth knowledge ofHR practices including payroll processingemployee benefits and compliance with laborlaws.
- Strong communication andinterpersonal skills to interact effectively with patientsinsurance providers and internalteams.
- High attention to detail andexcellent organizationalskills.
- Ability to workindependently and in a teamenvironment.
- Strong problemsolvingskills especially in financial or billingdiscrepancies.
- Proficiency inMicrosoft Office Suite (Excel Word) and accounting software (e.g.Tally QuickBooksSAP).
- Strongknowledge of medical billing andinsurance claimprocesses.
