PositionSummary

We are seeking a highlyskilled PMC Instrumentation Control andTelecom Lead Engineer to oversee and manageall instrumentation control and telecom engineering activities fora prestigious Oil & Gas pipeline construction project inAbu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will ensure the development andimplementation of designs meet project specifications internationalstandards and safety requirements. This role requires strongtechnical expertise leadership skills and experience managing thesedisciplines within largescaleprojects.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Leadall instrumentation control and telecom engineering activitiesensuring designs and deliverables comply with project requirementsand international standards.
  • Develop review andapprove technical documents including system design specificationsand drawings for instrumentation control and telecomsystems.
  • Oversee the selection and procurementof instrumentation and telecom equipment ensuring compliance withtechnical requirements.
  • Ensure seamlessintegration of instrumentation and telecom systems with otherproject components and disciplines.
  • Providetechnical guidance to address complex issues related to controlsystems telecommunications andinstrumentation.
  • Monitor contractor andsubcontractor performance during design installation andcommissioning to ensure quality andcompliance.
  • Support the preparation andexecution of Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) Site Acceptance Tests(SAT) and commissioning activities for instrumentation and telecomsystems.
  • Review and resolve technical queries(TQ) and manage changes related to instrumentation control andtelecom systems.
  • Ensure compliance with HSEstandards and industry best practices in all relatedactivities.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineersfostering a culture of technical excellence and professionalgrowth.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelorsdegree in Instrumentation Electronics or Electrical Engineering ora relatedfield.
  • Experience:
    • 1215years of experience in instrumentation control and telecomengineering with a focus on Oil & Gas or largescalepipeline construction projects.
    • Provenexperience in a PMC environment is highlydesirable.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiencyin design and analysis tools for instrumentation and telecomsystems.
    • Strong knowledge of internationalstandards and codes related to instrumentation and telecom (e.g.ISA IEC API).
    • Experience with SCADA DCS andtelecom system integration.
    • Excellentproblemsolving and decisionmakingskills.
    • Strong leadership and communicationskills for effective team coordination and stakeholderengagement.
    • Ability to manage multiplepriorities effectively in a dynamic projectenvironment.
