About the job WELDING INSPECTOR We are seeking a qualified and experienced Welding Inspector to ensure compliance with welding standards and project specifications in a major Oil & Gas development project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the field, strong inspection capabilities, and the ability to communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct welding inspections in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements. Review welding procedures, welder qualifications, and ensure proper execution on-site. Monitor and verify welding activities to ensure quality and adherence to the approved specifications. Identify and report non-conformities and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented. Collaborate with QA/QC, construction, and client teams to resolve technical issues. Maintain detailed inspection records and generate reports for quality documentation.KEY QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry in a similar role. Diploma in Engineering (relevant discipline). Certification in CSWIP 3.1, AWS-CWI, or an equivalent qualification approved by the Client. Strong knowledge of welding codes and standards (ASME, API, etc.). Good command of English, both written and verbal.VERTICALENGINEERING
