Ourclient is a large construction company that is currently lookingfor aSenior HSE Engineer who will beresponsiblefor keeping sites free from danger risk or injury in the workplace;developing safety programs to minimize losses incurred due toinjuries and property damage and try to eliminate unsafe practicesand conditions on construction sites and throughout the projectphase.

DutiesandResponsibilities:

Coordinatethe safety activities between the Owner/Client andSubcontractor.
Review and approve theSubcontractor safety program and procedures adviseand
recommend any correctiveactions necessary.
Conductperiodic safety audits in coordination with Sr. HSE Manager toensure that the
established safetyprogram is implemented in a proper manner and submit the report toHSE
department.
Advise and support HSE subordinates at differentsites.
Patrol the work siteperiodically to verify that the work is carried out under safeconditions with no violations of safetyrequirements.
Advise promptly theSupervisors and Workers of corrective action when any unsafeconditions or violations areobserved.
Submit accident reportto Project Manager & HSEdepartment.
Maintain thepublished safety literature safety regulations codes and othercommunications in
accordance withcontract.
Advise management ofcompliance and conditions requiringattention.
Conduct independentaudits to ensure conformance with the established safety programand determine the effectiveness of individual elements of theprogram.
Check each workprocedure from the safety point of view and coordinate with hissuperior and project manager before commencement of work and/orwhile working.
Check on the useof all types of personal protective equipment available and in useevaluate effectiveness and suggestimprovements.

Requirements QualificationsandSkills:

BachelorDegree in Engineering (preferably in Civil but Mechanical isacceptable.
Goodunderstanding of local requirements as well as ISO 14001 and OSHAS18001 International Standards and general understanding of HSEfield in foundationengineering.
57 yearsexperience in foundation engineering (piling & shoringonly)

WorkEnvironment Office 20% Site 80%
Duty Hours: As per siterequirement.

WORKLOCATION DUBAI BUT WORK BEING SITEBASED IT COULD BE BETWEEN DUBAIAND ABUDHABI
