    • Keepsthe immediate supervisor fully informed of all problems or unusualmatters of significance.
    • Has a fullcomprehensive knowledge of the hotel including all departmentsservices and outlets.
    • Ensures the butlerpantries are maintained and operationally alwaysprepared.
    • Maintains open line of communicationand coordinate with related departments to ensure guest requestsand complaints are handled effectively andefficiently.
    • Takes corrective actions whenrequired to improve safety of all workareas.
    • Maintain clear and effectivecommunication with other hotel departments to ensure guest requestsare fulfilled.
    • Identifies and anticipatesguests needs and requirements.
    • Adheres to allpolicies and procedures as stated in the Butler Services SOPmanual.
    • Reports on duty punctually and inaccordance with the department dutyroster.
    • Adheres at all times to thedepartmental grooming and uniformstandards.
    • Adheres to all hotel and companypolicies and procedures.
    • Adheres to all hotelhealth and safety policies.
    • Establishes andmaintains seamless interaction cooperation and communication withall guest services operations and hoteldepartments.
    • Has full understanding and isknowledgeable of all inroom services amenities andfunctions.
    • Is fully proficient andknowledgeable with the hotel operating system(Opera).
    • Ensures a full and complete shift handover.
    • Conducts daily standard and qualitychecks.
    • Makes and recommends to seniormanagement any suggestions and ideas that could enhance guest andstaff satisfaction and quality ofservice.
    • Performs other duties andresponsibilities as assigned by seniormanagement.
    • Assist in assuring all standardservice procedures are adhered to and carried out indetail.
    • Ensure all arrival rooms are checkedand ready prior to an arrival.
    • Ensure allamenities are in place as per remarks and profile ofguest.
    • To offer welcome towels and servewelcome drinks to all guests on arrival.
    • Tocomplete a full room orientation for the guest on arrival includingassisting guest with their luggage.
    • Offerunpacking service on arrival and packing service for departureguests.
    • Respond to guest requests e.g. urgentlaundry / pressing requirements.
    • To serveinroom dining service requests.
    • To attend toguest complaints of room facilities.
    • To offershoeshine / laundry / pressing service.
    • Offerevening turndown service to guests preparing the room for acomfortable nights sleep.
    • To make restaurantrecommendations and reservations.
    • Ensure guestdietary restrictions or allergies areaccommodated.
    • Assist with arrangingtransportation reservations and other conciergeservices.
    • Handle special requests such asarranging room decorations special occasion celebrations or inroomspa services.
    • Keep accurate records of guestpreferences and special instructions for futurevisits.
    • Constantly check the appearancecleanliness of the rooms and report any maintenance issues or roomdeficiencies to the appropriate department.
    • Tocarry out specific duties or tasks assigned within a specific timeframe.
    • All discrepancies in billing of guestshould be handled immediately. All discrepancies or voids should becountersigned with an acceptable explanation or bought to theattention of senior management.
    • Must befamiliar with all company policies and procedures relevant to theirposition.
    • Must be fully versed in safety andemergency procedures.
    • Stay updated on hotelservices amenities and promotions.
    • Participatein training programs to enhance your skills andknowledge.
    • Always Maintaining the highestlevels of hygiene andcleanliness.

  • Prompt and courteousdelivery of all orders maintaining a positive image through alleach guest contact and through cleanliness of guestareas.
  • Assure total guest satisfaction in theservice of food and beverage through the supervision of prompt andcourteous delivery of all Restaurants and Room Serviceorders
  • During shift ensure that guests aresatisfied by assisting with serving seating communication withkitchen and by striving to speak to allguests.

  • Be on the floor during entire mealperiod and ensure adequate coverage
  • Ensure thatonly a quality product is being served
  • Maintainproper Associate uniform standards
  • Manage aneffective repair and maintenance program through the use of workorders inspections etc.
  • Exercise stationrotation to ensure stations are distributed fairly. Handle daily Associate relations (i.e. scheduling time adjustmentsetc.
  • Assist any Associate in his/her jobperformance when required to ensure guest satisfaction. Assist in implementing an effective training program for new andcurrent associates
  • Encourage problem solving byAssociates through proper training and empowerment to ensure guestsatisfaction.
  • Establish effective communicationwith Associates to gain their trust and respect through his/herhard work.  Maintain fair and consistent counseling and/ordisciplinary procedures in accordance with Anantaras Guarantee ofFair Treatment Policy
  • Identify and recommendincentive programs new ideas and methods ofoperation
