Job Summary

This positionwill be site based in charge of a package (project) responsible forproviding planning and scheduling support and assistance to ProjectManagers and other Project teammembers.

JobDuties

  • Understandingwork scope quantity and familiar with logical sequencing ofconstruction disciplines;
  • Providing detailedreview analysis and monitoring of the procurement and constructionprogrammes of the Contractor Subcontractors andUtilities;
  • Working closely on a day to daybasis with the planners of the contractor to monitor and/or amendthe Contractors baseline programme ofWork;
  • Providing progress reports graphs andcritical path analysis for the monthly and weekly progress reportsto the Project Management Consultant(PMC);
  • Reporting to the Senior ResidentEngineer any risks opportunities and any mitigation strategies tomaintain the project completion date;
  • Reviewingactual progress against the construction programme and prepare andreport to the to the Senior Resident Engineeraccordingly;
  • Attending site and conveningworkshops with the site supervision team as necessary to getsnapshots in time and keeping an update on actual progress onsite;
  • Conducting independent site visits toevaluate the contractors site progress against his programme andreporting to the Senior Resident Engineeraccordingly;
  • Providing support to the SeniorQuantity Surveyor in understanding the programme risks andopportunities of potential additional works and variationproposals;
  • Maintaining records of monitoring ofthe programme to enable input and support to the Senior ResidentEngineer and Senior Quantity Surveyor to evaluate any relatedContractor claims and variations as considered necessary;and
  • Providing assistance to the PMC duringnegotiations arbitration or any other forms of disputeresolution.

Qualifications:

MinimumQualification

  • ABachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or ConstructionManagement.

Experience

  • Aminimum of 10 years experience in the roads construction or relatedworks and experience inPrimavera.
